I couldn't believe sugar would take hair off; it does! Took a couple weeks to arrive from Egypt. The package, with the Egyptian stamps and words, was awesome.The sugar is in a plastic tub with a clear plastic seal, over the sugar, under the cap. No scent. Dark amber color. It was a bit too firm to scoop out so had to warm it with my fingers as I melted a small (quarter-sized) ball. Powdered my upper-lip, applied the wax against the hair, then pulled off with the hair --- SO SMOOTH! It actually took the fine hairs off in one pass. I did a few more passes just to make sure every angle was covered. I was AMAZED! Then did my wrist just to make sure and those hairs came right off. Not as painful as hard, hot wax, yet much easier to deal with and a lot quicker, too. No waiting for wax to melt, just open the top and use. This is my new best cosmetic item for my face. I can't wait to try it under my arms and legs and report back on it.After you pull off hair a few times, the sugar turns from clear amber to an opaque light tan and the hairs stick to it. You can still use the same ball until it no longer grabs hair. I did my upper-lip, fingers and played on my wrists with a quarter-size ball, the skin feels exfoliated and smooth. The tiny bits of sugar that don't come up with tapping the sugar ball on them, just wash with warm water and it will melt right off -- great if you make a mistake! Can't do that with hot wax.Watch Youtube on how to do "Sugar Hair Removal". You go against the hair to lay the sugar on and pull off with the direction of the hair. They even have recipes to make your own. This seems to be a popular method of hair removal in the Middle-East, just wish I learned of it sooner. Watch the techniques for applying and removing the sugar and you will become very good at it.I'm sure I'll mostly use this on my upper-lip so this container will last a long time, maybe 6-8 months. If it works good on my legs and underarms, I may have to find a jumbo jar of it. :))*****UGH! After I woke up the next day my upper lip and around my face were broken out in big, red, swollen welts. I'm highly allergic to something in this. :( I still give it 5 stars if you can use it, 0 stars if you are allergic.

Ok so I am someone who makes sugaring paste myself at home and thought I would buy some to see if it was any better or worse than what I was making and using at home.What I found is that this paste works great, probably equally as good as what I can make myself for free, the only difference is that this stuff came slightly scented, I couldn't put my finger on the send almost lavender scented maybe, not sure but its not a bad sent. Its a decent size container so it will last a month or so depending on how often and where all you use it.Overall it works fine if you know how to do it (those of you who said you couldn't get it to stick and such you probably didn't work it enough, you have to play with it a while to get it a lighter color before it becomes sticky enough to work properly). It was pretty kool to see all the Egyptian writing on the package and box too, but after i use this I will probably just stick to making my own since its much cheaper,Those of you who don't know, it is very simple to make this and only costs you the cost of sugar lemons and water. If you have a candy thermometer and a stove you can make it, there are lots of YouTube videos and things to tell you how to make it and use it, just be sure you try it a few times to get the hang of it before making a big batch.Also be sure to note there is a difference between the sugaring paste and gel- this product was the paste so you can use it by spreading it on with your hands and you don't need cotton strips or anything, just heat it in the microwave a few seconds, kneed it until its sticky and spread it on. :) Works great for me, Questions are welcome!

This product is amazingg! Ive always liked egyptian wax because it removes the hair AND dead skin as well.. so you have clean smooth skin afterwards (which isnt always possible with wax strips).. and u dont need strips you just spread the wax on ur skin and pull it with ur hands! Easy!its also not as painful as people think it is, its just like any other wax.. u get used to it. I ordered 1 a few months ago to try it n i loved it so much that i ordered 2 more. If you want longer lasting, smoother and cleaner results you will love this product.

Had to microwave for 20 seconds before using. The container was retry small and takes a long time to arrive. I will order more all at once next time. Affordable and beats trying to make it myself, which I have failed to do everytime haha.

This sugar formula is way too thick. I generally like thick sugar because too runny won't grab the hair, however as soon as it you take it out of the tub it dries immediately. Maybe it would work well if you're in the tropics, but here in Los Angeles in December it's not effective. Going to try and thin it out.

As far as the shipping, they estimated it to arrive almost 2 months after I ordered, which wasn't preferable but I still had another jar to last me so that was okay. To my delightful surprise it came the next week! So happy about this!As for the product, this is the only one I've been able to use on my face and not have a bad reaction/breakout. Thank goodness! Love love LOOOVE this stuff :)

This product does not work as advertised no matter how well you follow then instructions - I suspect there are some unnatural chemicals for it to react this way

This one really worked has all natural ingredients no fragrance, mild on skin, my skin is sensitive I always get rashes after hair removal and with this I did nt! Absolutely recommend, you need to know the technique to use it , it has instructions in the cover, but better to watch video to understand what is needed, you can find Arabic wax video in YouTube and follow the same with this.
