Works with Veraplus
Works, but a little slow to activate for me. I have this mounted in a long narrow hallway, just above the hallway trim molding. I have to get about half way down a 25 foot hallway before it activates. Once I see the red LED (indicating motion), the light switches on within about 1/2 second. So it isn't the background routing of the command through the controller that is causing the delay. Works better the further down the hall you are away from the sensor. Will explore other motion sensors. Not disappointed, just thinking the field of view for the sensor is not as wide as I desire. I have not tried the different pet immune setting yet. Used default jumper setting out of the box. It did pair quickly and easily with my Veraplus controller.

Works with Smartthings v2. Pet freindly for the most part.
This works good and connects easily to the smartthings v2 hub. The main complaints I have about it is the refresh time is like 5 minutes but you can bypass that and put a jumper on to give it 30 seconds but it will probably shorten battery life and the pet safe options are a little drastic. I have a Rat Terrier and a Lab mix if I set it on small pets it doesn't pick up the small dog but does pick up the large dog the next setting doesnt pick up either of them but also often misses my daughter. But for something that the dogs don't set off when I am away it works pretty well.Again as with most of these things pair them and name them in your system before you install them in their location if it is far away.

Z-Wave Ecolink sensor review
Excellent motion detector. This detector, although not directly supported by Wink has been successfully working on the Wink platform, with the Wink Hub for about 4 months. The detector, when used with Wink does have a 10 second plus delay between the time the signal is received and the time that a light bulb or other app feature can be activated. It does not work well with all app features; however, it managed to get recognized as a motion detector by the Wink Hub, if paired accordingly. The Wink hubs seems to interpret the signal okay; however, occasionally the detector may send out a signal that the Wink Hub does not understand, and this may result in no event being triggered or in an erroneous recording in the activity log of the Wink app. In the app, depending on how it was programmed to react, it may display name of sensor and "detected motion started", or name of sensor and "detected motion stopped" if it is programmed to detect when motion has stopped.Usage/set up tips:-Test the placement location of the detector using the two included small adhesion strips to ensure that the sensor is able to pick up motion accurately and not ignore it if it determines that the motion below a certain level is a pet.-Two modes exist, PET1 and PET2, either must be set by physically opening the sensor front cover and moving the jumper over PET1 or PET2 as per the instructions manual (follow instructions always, and remove the battery before moving the jumper) These modes represent the different sensitivity levels for the lower part of the motion sensor in order to take into consideration different pets that could potentially result in a false alarm if accidentally detected-Red light quickly flashes when motion is detected, or flashes at pre-programmed intervals to indicate which mode the sensor is in (pairing, paired, etc...)-The sensor takes at least 3 minutes to reset and to indicate that the motion has stopped or started againTechnical specifications:The unit I received runs on 123A batteries which have proven to last a reasonable period of time.Overall, in my opinion this is a great, basic motion detector that can get the job done well, if installed and used in accordance to the instructions and those of the platform the sensor will be paired with. Check with the platform/hub manufacturer first to see if the sensor might be compatible.

Perhaps I am expecting too much out of this technology ...
Perhaps I am expecting too much out of this technology in this day in age but the range on these things and their ability to detect motion didn't really meet my expectation. It distinguishes well between pets and humans but that seems to be because it is fairly lax in detection of movement altogether. I originally wanted it to be used as a primary on/off sensor for my living room and bathroom lights but it's unreliability made it more of a novelty function rather than a dependable one. It takes a significant amount of motion to trigger it and more than a brief second of time to actually register.I'll probably try to revisit motion technology in a few years when the consumer sector products become more accurate (i hope). Right now, it's still too unreliable.
