Works perfectly with the Google Pixel 3!
This works perfectly with my Pixel 3, and seems like a very good deal. The corresponding item on Google store - Moshi USB-C™ Digital Audio Adapter with Charging - sells at $40, while this sells at $18. They both do the exact same thing as far as I can tell. The sound quality is excellent and it charges well, both functions done separately as well as simultaneously. I can't comment on durability just yet as I just got my item today. I will update the review later on if it breaks down, but the item seems well made, so please assume that it continues to work well unless you see an update.Tl;dr: As of now, I would definitely recommend buying this.Update: After using this for a couple of days, I like it even more. My QuickCharge3.0 chargers would not "charge rapidly" with the pixel 3 due to Google opting for USB PD instead. When charging through this adapter though, my phone is able to "charge rapidly"; this adapter apparently also converts standard power input to USB PD output!

Works, but has quirks.
The basic features work with my Google Pixel 2 XL Android phone. It will pass through charging and outputs audio over the 3.5mm jack. The problem I have is that I use this in my car to connect to my stereo and my phone thinks that it has a headset connected, not just an audio out line. This means that I have to switch to speakerphone to take a call and can't use the Google Assistant while connected to my car. One star off for that.Second star off because the input USB Type C port is really loose. So much so that sometimes just the weight of the cable and a couple bumps in the road will cause the charging cord to fall out.EDIT: The seller/manufacturer has contacted me to let me know that they had previously received complaints about the USB port being too tight which led them to loosening it up, but it seems like they over compensated on the batch that mine came from, so YMMV (Your Milage May Vary). They did offer to give me a half refund as compensation, but asked that I update or remove my review. (As of writing this, I haven't gotten the refund, so I assume they're waiting for this to be posted because it's been a couple months since they reached out.)In the mean time, we've had a few fairly warm days where I live and I use this in my car. The device still works fine, but the glue securing the metal casing to the plastic interior has failed, so the metal just slides right off. Nothing electrical is exposed by this, just a plastic body.

IT WORKS WITH GOOGLE PIXEL PHONES!!!!
I recently purchased this item after previously purchasing another brand that did not work. I have a Google Pixel 2, which anyone who owns one knows that it doesn't have an auxiliary port :( And I've noticed with these phones make sure that you have use Google verified products otherwise they won't work. This splitter is awesome! It charges my phone extremely fast. The one downside is that when my USB-C cord and auxiliary are both plugged in to the splitter there is a slight backdrop noise you can hear when it's on auxillary .

Promising, but with one glaring flaw
Mostly did what I wanted it to do. USB-C audio: check. USB-C charging: check. Doing both while on Wire, Signal, Zello, Jitsi Meet, etc.: negative. The problem lies in the fact that plugging this adapter in cuts off the built-in microphone. I'm not sure if the fault lies with the adapter or Android, but it's not a viable solution if you want to converse without echo via this device.Edit: I've since done another experiment and connected my headphones through a Blue Yeti mic and this adapter. This wired headphone+mic combination does work, so I'll add another star for this workaround.

On Galaxy S8 it's great for music, bad for calls.
Bought for Samsung Galaxy S8 so I could use large headphones at work without having to remove my case every time. Sound quality is superb and charging works great.Only reason I knocked a star off is that this device doesn't work properly for calls. You can't talk into the phone while listening to the other person on the headphones, you must unplug them and talk directly into the phone.

Cheap quality, has weird bugs, works only sometimes
So let's start with what my expectations were when getting this product. I simply wanted something that would allow me to charge my phone while I use my wired headphones and I bought this thinking it would let me do that.. well it does, but it has a lot of issues. When I first used it, I plugged in the charger first and the headphones later but the headphones wouldn't work.. It took some messing around and unplugging and plugging back in for the headphones to work with the charger. This continues to be a problem when I want to plug the headphones in while the charger is already plugged in. Another problem is that when I'm on a call with my wired headphones plugged in, if I decide to unplug the headphones it will automatically hang up the call. Overall I think this has too many quirks for me to recommend it.

Good for What It Is
In a world where manufactures want to withhold a headphone jack, this adapter brings phones back to the norm. My only grief with the phone is that I cannot speak on the phone through my cars AUX with this adapter, I must use speaker phone. The piece that came with the phone allows me to talk through the AUX, but does not allow me to charge the phone.
