So this is odd. I bought this item because of all the positive reviews but look very closely at them: "factory direct bendable artificial pine", "these are perfect. the coating holds my sweaters in place", "this is a cool machine but I have no idea what to do with it", "my 10 year old son chose this shower curtain", "LOVED this dress"....and it goes on and on. So someone loaded reviews for many different items to pad the review status of this item. Scam. In short, these adapters are NOT iPHONE COMPATIBLE. Just like the last set I bought.....Grrrrrrr

Bought these adapters for my iPhone XR and don't even work well with it like it says in the title. When i plugged in the adapter on both my iPhone XR and iPhone 6, The volume just goes all the way up and you can't turn it down unless i unplug it. Now I'm going to have to buy an adapter somewhere else that will hopefully work and i just lost my money because i bought these adapters that don't work.

Do not buy this product. It works for about 30 seconds with my new iPhone XR before my phone pops up with a message -- "This accessory is not supported by this iPhone."I also wish I had noticed that the vast majority of the reviews for this product are fake -- they're for coat hangers, shower curtains, dresses and more. Stay away! Don't waste your money!

This might work well with headphones, but I do not use headphones. I purchased it to use with my Kinsa Smart Thermometer that plugs into a headphone jack. iPhone XR flashed a banner said that it was not supported, and indeed, it did not work. Later referral to the Kins site said that the thermometer would only work on iPhone XR with Apple's official headphone adapter. -Returning to Amazon

These do not work. I have an XS and they will work for only a few minutes then they aren’t recognized by the phone so the sound goes back to the phone speaker. I tried unplugging and plugging them back in, but the same thing happened. They are useless. I saw that they got a lot of good reviews but didn’t read them- the 5 star reviews are for OTHER PRODUCTS! If I could give it 0 stars I would since this is a total loss.

These are terrible! 0 stars would be more accurate. If I use them while listening to Pandora they will keep going on full blast despite numerous attempts to lower the volume. Amazon music has the opposite effect and mutes it every time. They don’t work at all when trying to make a call. I wish I had kept the packaging to return them because they’re a total waste.

The lightning to headphone jack adapter is not compatible with iPhone. It works for a few seconds, then iPhone Xs complains that the accessory is not compatible with iPhone and plays through built-in speakers.

As soon as I plugged in to my Apple XR phone it said it wasn't compatible. There was supposed to be 2 in the pack and I got one.
