I love this puzzle turntable…with a few modifications
I’ve always wanted a dedicated puzzle “station” in my home but never could find the perfect spot that would not take up room or make my home look cluttered.. I thought this turntable was a good start and I love it…but find it a bit heavy for me to pick up and move around. Getting it through a doorway while holding it is also not easy for me.So I decided to put the puzzle tray on my IKEA rolling cart and just keep it in a convenient spot in my upstairs hallway. This cart is the perfect height and spins around easily so I can work on the puzzle from different sides. This way I can pull up my desk chair and take puzzle breaks whenever I want.My tray came with the metal turning piece, but it was not attached. I came up with my cart solution since I really don’t have a surface larger enough for my preferred 1,000-piece puzzles. I actually am happier with my rolling tray setup. And…if I want to roll this puzzle “station” into another room, it rolls perfectly through any of my doorways since my hands aren’t taking up extra room holding the tray by the edges. (I have one of the IKEA bamboo topper boards on top and put a sheet of rubbery shelf liner on top of that, so the puzzle tray doesn’t move around.)I’m thrilled and have already put many puzzles together since I bought this tray using my Christmas gift cards. The tray is well put together and I love the colors of the lining. I start with the larger trays when first sorting the pieces and then move to some smaller white trays I purchased separately. I find those smaller, lighter trays easier to move around. It’s easy enough to move pieces around on the lining, but I have noticed some puzzle “dust” or fibers building up a little. It is now my routine, once I finish a puzzle, to take a slightly damp paper towel and wipe each lining down. This picks up the fibers nicely and the lining is like new again. A lint roller might work as well, but I prefer this method.I looked at a variety of puzzle “tables” and like the gray color on this one the best. Since you will be staring at this top a lot, be sure you are happy with the choice of color.I am pleased I have enough room to work on a 1,000-piece puzzle and still have a bit of space outside the puzzle for some extra pieces.I wish the edges of the board were slight rounded since they can feel a bit sharp when leaning against them. I may find some sandpaper to smooth those out a bit.The value is decent, given its construction, but a good investment if you use it just a few times. If I wanted to take a puzzle break and store it away, it wouldn’t taken up much room at all to tuck it in a closet or under a bed.The cover is a very nice quality…just the right weight to it. I especially want to use that since I am hoping to get a cat or cats in the next few months.I would purchase again and am glad I finally decided to treat myself!

Don’t buy until you read this!
The best puzzle board I ever purchased! Not sure if this is the puzzle board for you? Read on.No regrets, 100%I am a puzzle lover and a puzzle board is a necessity for me especially when I’m working on large puzzles. I have tried many puzzle boards in the past, some of them not lasting for a year. When my last puzzle board broke after just a couple of months of usage (I know, frustrating) I searched for a new one that would fit my needs and would be super sturdy to last me for a long time. Thankfully I came across this puzzle board because this board really made a big difference in my puzzle assembly experience - it’s a very neat way to keep the puzzle pieces together. What initially caught my attention while I was searching for a new puzzle board is how colorful it is. Well, I don’t usually like colorful stuff especially that my previous board is just a plain varnished color, but hey, I think this will make my puzzle assembly more lively instead of working on a plain colored board. So I bought it and I can say that my money was well spent!I am amazed at how good looking this product is when I unboxed it. Great packaging by the way! The seller made sure that the product will get to me in one piece. No chemical smell, no missing pieces, everything is intact and it exceeded my expectations. The quality is excellent and I have received numerous compliments on it. It looks nice sitting out and as family and friends walk by, they stop a minute to place a piece or two. It's a great conversation piece as well as a nice place to gather and visit while we work together. Some points that I really like about this product:Size - This board is just the right size for me. It easily fits my 1000-piece puzzles, it is compact enough that I can easily slide it under my bed or the couch when I’m not working on my puzzles.Color - I mentioned this already, the color of this board stood out among its competitors. The black surface allows me to see each and every piece of the puzzle.Board Surface - Aside from its color, I like the felt finish of the surface, it lets you slide the pieces around yet holds it in place especially when the cover is placed over them.Raised Edges - I super like that this has a raised edges ensuring that I will not having pieces falling off the floor (where my cat could get it).Colorful Drawers - The drawers on this puzzle board can be completely removed and slide out. I can slide the drawers closed when I don’t need to work on certain pieces making my work surface very neat and tidy. I use the colorful drawers to sort the puzzle pieces which makes it easier for me to look for the puzzle piece that I need. The drawers are super helpful! I put my puzzles together faster because of them.Removable Puzzle Mat - not all of my puzzle board before has this and I never knew I needed it until I got a hold of this one. The puzzle cover is made from a flexible mouse pad-like material. I often use it as a cover but sometimes I use it as an additional space to organize my jigsaw pieces. This puzzle mat also protects my jigsaw from my cats (I have five). I like that it weighs down the my jigsaw pieces when I take a break without having to worry about pieces getting messed up.Lightweight - It's also pretty light so not hard to move if needed. I can easily move the board from my dining table to the living area or shove it under my bed when it’s not in use. Even though it’s lightweight, I can feel that it is sturdy enough to last me for years.I highly recommend this board to all my puzzle lover friends and will be buying a few units so that I could give it as a gift to my closest family and friends for the upcoming Christmas. If you are reading this and have reached this far and is still unsure if this is the best puzzle board for you. I’m telling you - IT IS THE BEST ONE OUT THERE! If you don’t think so after you purchased and used it, don’t worry, they offer a LIFETIME MONEY BACK GUARANTEE (which I don’t think I’ll be using in the next few years)..I don’t normally write reviews (let alone a long one) but after using this board for more than 6 months (and going), I know I owe it to whoever had thought of this amazing product. This product made my puzzle assembly easier, tidier and clutter-free. Even my cats attest to that.
