Floyd's 99Grip Cream - High Hold - Matte Finish

Went to Floyd’s for a while. Always preferred this to other brands. Great hold and lasts all day. I always apply to wet hair, personally.

Best cream for your hair if you want great hold and a matte finish. No issues with flakes. Once I found this have never used anything else

Great product!! I've been struggling to find a high hold cream like this my whole life. The hold reminds me of the alterna hemp concrete, which is unfortunately discontinued if I'm not mistaken. A little bit goes a long way. Some people might not like the smell but I don't mind it.

Im using this to style a toddlers hair, so his hair type is probably finer than an adults. That being said the cream appears to go on a little greasy looking and then eventually dries matte. I have to put in probably a quarter size of product to get his hair to style and stay upright (think fauxhawk). It washes out when it gets wet and the hair falls when it is humid or just really hot outside. Not a bad product, just doesnt work with where we live.

A big fan of the styling cream (red one), so i thought i'd try this. the hold from this is even stronger, but as a byproduct of that, i find it's quite difficult to wash out (whereas the styling cream is not). i'm not crazy about either scent, as they both smell a little chemically plastic to me, but this one is a little worse as the scent is a heavier, "creamier" smell if that makes sense. so while this definitely does what its primary purpose is, because it's so difficult to wash out i'll stick with their styling cream.

I had been using one type of hair product for years but never felt like it held like I wanted. It was difficult to find a matte product with a strong hold that was as equally good for short hair as when I've gained a little length. This stuff has been great and stands up to light rain and wind with no problems.

I've tried many different types of hair products, Floyd's hair creams have been the best so far.

Love this stuff for my kids' hair. Great non wet, non sticky feel.
