Hobart 770751 Impact Bonehead2 Variable Auto-Dark Helmet

Production welder quality and sometimes quality. Get a hood, get a great value, get you a Hobart. My Bonehead is stylish and functional for regular user, wear and tear, and accessories are budget friendly. Trust me I production weld 6 days a week now for 2 years.

I weld 10 hours a day in a factory environment doing all sorts of out of position welds. The settings are simple and variable. The fact that the grinder setting is inside and not a knob on the outside of the helmets makes it easier when I have a very small area to see the weld in as well as not having to worry about the knob turning when it gets caught or brushes against something. The only problem I have found with this helmet is the length. Sometimes I have to look down so far that the helmet hits my chest and I am stuck looking out of the very bottom. Of the viewer to see the weld.

Great Helm. The Art work is painted on and is NOT Decals. Very difficult to keep helm up while on head, sides do Not tighten enough. - one star for that, very annoying; otherwise a perfect helm.

Nice lid. Good construction, nice and light. Cool graphics. Most importantly, the lense system works well welding and grinding. Response time is quick. Lense size could be bigger, but you'd have to upgrade to the Hobart Pro series to get that. Overall good purchase.

I weld everyday both mig and arc and this helmet works great for that. I haven't had any problems and it looks pretty sweet. Fast shipping too

Great helmet, only dislikes are that the helmet slides down too easily sometimes. Feels sturdy everywhere else though and functions great. I use it daily

I have had this helmet for 2 years through 2 different jobs haven't had one problem with it such a great helmet. Have gotten some of my co-workers buy the same type helmet they love it too!
