This knife is replacing another reserve knife for cutting acidic food that I do not really want to expose my Mac MTK-80 on. The steel quality is quite good, and the finishing of the blade is rather fetching. The handle is on the smaller side, but that is perfect for my hands and feels properly balanced.. My knife unfortunately arrived pretty dull (did not cut into the warranty card cleanly or deeply), which is a fault considering that there was a guard on the blade itself. The knife is straightforward enough to sharpen, but it should have never been sent out in that condition. If you have a good stone or even the electric sharpener, you might want to do an initial sharpen if your knife is delivered that dull.

This is a high-quality knife at an affordable price. I was impressed by the presentation of the item. Everything about the knife gave a good impression about it's quality. Right from packaging to the product itself. The packaging was premium and was presented well. The knife was clean, and the design really stood out.The knife blade has a swirly pattern which makes it look cool. The blade is 8" long and 0.25" thick - which is a nice size blade to cut any meat, and my meat is being chopped really easily with this. The blade came sharp from the box and did not need sharpening.The handle is a nice comfortable hardwood that is easy to hold and easy on the hand.Overall the knife is a good choice for anyone looking to buy a high-quality knife at an affordable price.

First, this chef know looks fabulous! it comes at a very nice price and has a great gift box! it is very easy to hold and does not slip!We got it to use on our cooking channels and it makes super clean cuts thru chicken bones and thick pieces of meat, it is very very sharp.The wood design makes it special, we use expensive knives too so we can compare and this is a really good quality and strong knife.We kept the gift box for storage, it makes it easier and safer to take it in and our the drawer!

Quickly and swiftly. I get to fillet chicken like I was about to open a farm-sushi fusion restaurant.I noticed this morning that it lost a bit of sharpness, but I wouldn't mind sharpening it again and again till all I have left is a piece of wire.The knife is very cool looking and I love the inlays on the blade. The handle is also very fancy to the eye.I hope it doesn't disappoint me in the near future, like she did.

This knife is nice, and it comes in a nice gift box which makes a nice presentation. I don't have any real issues with the knife. I knew it wasn't real Damascus, which you can tell by the price. The knife looks decent enough, but this knife is the same as all the other sellers with similar pictures, so I'd say just shop around and get the cheapest. They are all the exact same anyway.

As an at home cook the Chefs knife is mostly the main tool in the kitchen, not only was the knife itself already very sharp, but cuts through a majority of meats, fruits and vegetables without much of a struggle. This product is highly recommendable as it was affordable, but a great starting knife as well for those who are new or worry about damaging more expensive ones.

We had previously purchased a Victorinox knife this size, but the blade became dull pretty quick. I also got a blade sharpener from them which works ok. But my wife says this new knife is much sharper, and it makes it easier to cut veggies for salad. Personally, I'm afraid to use such sharp knives.

Very nice packaging and sharp skills. My first time using was slice chicken wings' tips off and cutting the wings in half. No problem at all. Clean cut. Nice design on the blade. I seriously considered giving it away as a gift instead of keeping it for myself. I love it!
