Cruise in style on the 41-inch Drop Down Longboard from EIGHTBIT. The drop-down deck offers more stability, better turning control and easy push off. Less distance to the ground for easy push off also helps lower fatigue. Ride it long distance or master carving. The 9.75 inch by 41.25 inch molded deck is made of 8-ply maple for durability. This longboard features heavy-duty, electrostatic-coated aluminum alloy trucks and ABEC-7 bearings, and it's fully-assembled and ready to ride out of the box.

Great!
Great board, a little squeaky, the two front wheels had considerably less spin than the back, but that was fixed quickly with a skate tool. However the black line on the maple is more like a dark dark green or blue (can't tell, colorblind lol)

Great inexpensive board.
Took it out of the box, ripped off the annoying plastic as best I could, and cruised it around the warehouse here at work. It rides smooth and is very stable and easy to control. Especially for my 40-something 240lb butt. I've been riding my 12 year old daughter's boards with her, but they flexed so much under me I got nervous and decided to get my own.The bearings on the wheels are inconsistent. But I expected that based on the other reviews on here, so I also ordered better quality bearings to install if these don't break in well. Even out of the box, this is a nice ride.

Not bad if the price doesn't keep going up
I'm new to the whole longboarding thing, but I didn't want to spend 250+ dollars on a really nice one. However, I did not want to buy a really crappy board that would be destroyed a few weeks after I bought it. I knew going in that the wheels and trucks would be questionable, and that the bearings would most definitely have to be replaced, so I bought bones reds and some $50 mini monster hawgs to go with it. The board itself is great quality (the whole reason I bought it), and the wheels and trucks are questionable, but may not have to be replaced. But good God this thing is slow and doesn't roll far with the stock bearings. And the thing isn't well put together either. After riding and breaking in the trucks, I noticed that there was an unbearably loud rattling sound, along with the screeching squeaks it had right out of the box. These problems are easily fixed though. The rattling was the trucks not being tight enough. I just took a wrench with me and rode on a rough road. If I heard a rattle, I tightened it up a little, until of course there was no more rattling. I dismantled the trucks and greased all the parts up with some household paraffin wax (brookshires). After all of that, this board has left me little to complain about. It is now faster and rolls longer than my friend's $250 dollar board while I only have $160 in mine. My only complaint is that the board is slightly warped, but it doesn't pose much of a problem. It does sometimes allow one of the wheels not to tough the floor if rolled by itself and no extra weight put on it. If the board wasn't warped and it came without me having to work on it, it'd be five stars, but for the price, it's really one of the best deals for a longboard on Amazon.Edit:I came back to purchase another one of these boards, but Amazon is steadily raising the price! 80 dollars and free shipping was fair then, but 100? Do I get free Bones bearings with it now? Because if not, I may look at another board. After all, the board is all I wanted anyways. Pretty much everything else needs to be replaced if you want a quality board. So please, Amazon, don't think you are cutting me a deal off of a 190 dollar board. This thing is definitely not worth that much. Put it back to 80. Was a 4 star, but if it is going to be 100, then it's 3 stars.

new long boarder
My 10 year old daughter received this for Christmas and rode it almost immediately. She loves it. She is new to long boarding but was able to hop on and ride. Looks easy to maneuver and rides smooth.

Heavy individuals beware.
So I wanted to wait till I had this longboard for a while. Background:I've had it a little over a month now and used it almost every day to get between classes for college. I'm also 5'11" and 230lbs. So a bit heavy. Also first time owning one so was learning. When I got the board, it was packaged well, no issues at all. Rolled smooth, bearings aren't the best, but not horrible either. I don't have much experience with boards, but it was easy to learn on and overall felt like a good board. Had to loosen the truck to be able to turn a bit better, but the included tool made it not an issue. The board also had a little flex, but not much. I liked it a lot. However, within a week, the tape started to separate in the corners. Not enough to completely come off but it sort of bubbled and was raised in the corners. Not a big deal. Nothing else was wrong. Still felt good.Fast forward to today, 5weeks later, going my usual route to class I started to hear creaks, as in wood splitting while going over some rather harsh cracks. Eventually getting to class the board started to drag on the ground while moving. Turns out the board layers were separating. So now I have a board that flexes too much and can't be used. Now I do not know if it's because of me being fat and heavy, or poor workmanship, or combination of both. So be cautious if your heavy set and want to use this board.

great board for the price, don't be ashamed for getting a deal.
bought at 62.99 , and for an introductory board it's not bad at all, nothing fantastic like 2-4 hundred dollar boards, but not a piece of junk either, rolls true, nice flex, easy to ride, wheels are good, bearings are good, overall very happy with this purchase, and if i ever see it at the same price again, i would buy 2 more, one fo wife and one for kid. needed a little decorating, so see my pics. all my best ~ kev.

The grip is super aggressive… might be a good thing if you're carving ...
The grip is super aggressive… might be a good thing if you're carving lines down Mount Whitney (could you even?) but i can see this mostly wearing down my soles. Something's rattling in one of the trucks, haven't taken it appart yet, but I imagine it can be "fixed"Bearings: decent but <ABEC9 I'd say… trucks are the no brand model fitted on most cheap complete setups. bushings on my board are very stiff, If I loosen the trucks so I get the sharp turns I like, they might as well not be on at all.At ~$100, I would've given it 3 stars – at $60, it gets 4… Good for the price, and very casual use.Side note (not factoring in my review) the box it came in was absurdly big, just a little smaller than my washing machine. It was by far the winner (looser?) of item-to-packaging ratio i ever got from Amazon, and I hate getting things like an SD card in a showbox.
