Pivot Door Steam Shower Enclosure Unit

The shower stall looks beautiful but it has a major Design issue. The unit has shower heads and spray nozzles on both sides and it is designed to discharge water simultaneously from both sides.You start your shower by turning on both left and right handles to a comfortable temperature. You started to enjoy hot water from both sides.The problem arises after about 5 minutes into the shower. Slowly, It discharges cold water from left side while the right side continues to discharge hot water. Then when you adjust the left side for hot water, then the right side discharges cold water.I reported the problem to the manufacturer eaglebath via posh hosh- amazon. Rob from posh hosh and Keith from eagle bath tried to help. They sent me replacement parts- valve, back panel. Local contractor charged me $650 to replace the parts but the problem persists. Finally, Keith from Eaglebath admitted that the problem cannot be fixed. That is the way it works. It is not easy to dismantle the unit to send back. We also noticed a leak from the back nozzle. Overall, the unit gave me lots of problems and it is not easy to fix.

We have had this steam shower since 2011. We have not had the issue as the other reviewer with the hot and cold problems BUT we have had problems finding replacement shower heads that fit into the preformed fittings set into the back of the wall. We have replaced the shower heads 3X over the years so now when we find one that fits in that hole (most are made too large to go down into that piece) we buy multiples to store for the future! The other problem we have is the jacuzzi tub haha is a JOKE when you turn it on, if you are in there alone you have to keep your feet over the spouts across from you or they shoot up so high they will be hitting you in the face!! Haha!! So best to have a partner in the tub! Otherwise the radio works great once you get the antenna set :) we haven’t tried the telephone, but love the radio!! So cool!! And the lighting is beautiful! Everyone that sees it is WOWed by it and just says OMG I want to shower in here!! It’s really beautiful. We keep a squeegee in the shower to clean the glass off after we use it. The directions are a bit hard to figure out but we did buy off of a different seller so perhaps this seller has better directions! I will have to contact this seller and see about buying replacement parts... that’s what I’m hunting now! Just a couple of little things, nothing big.
