EcoHanky 100% Cotton Men's Handkerchiefs Assorted Checks

I recently started to carry a handkerchief after years of using paper tissues. Over the past two months I have bought handkerchiefs from four companies (all through Amazon) and have waited to review them to see how they held up over time. These (the latest purchase) arrived a week ago and, as usual I washed them before first use. Ironed them today (yes all cotton handkerchiefs require ironing) and what a disappointment. They came out of the wash way out of square, with loose threads galore. Some of the stitching is truly amateurish and in any event it's clear they underwent no quality control. It's a shame because the feel is nice and the patterns attractive, but these are so far inferior to my other purchases that I thought I must review them right away. The others by the way (all better purchases) are: Hankytex, Neatpal and Geoffrey Beene.

When I blow my nose, typically it's a strong Cat. 5 hurricane level blow, which decimates most facial tissue, even when doubled up. Because of that, I always tend to not blow as hard, which does little to vacate my nostril region of the mucal enemy. But with these, I can blow my nose till I'm red in the face and laying flat on my back, dazed and confused about where I am having lost so much O2 to my brain. They hold up well to washing and one easily lasts me an entire day. I haven't bought any Kleenex in months. Plus the plaid design lets everyone know that you know how to wield an ax, start a fire, and hunt game with your bare hands.

Shrunk too much by comparison to my many other bandanas/handkerchiefs. I washed and dried these with my other 100% cotton handkerchiefs and was shocked at the result. They were much smaller than my other handkerchiefs (which average 18" after multiple washings). I have to admit that I did not read the reviews, but if you are expecting large bandanas/handkerchiefs, do not order these. They could also use some ironing, but I don't iron handkerchiefs. In any case, I will probably use them at home, but don't plan on using them everywhere.

In contrast to most cotton/linnen hankies, these are amazingly soft and gentle to the nose. Mine have only gone through several washings, and in fact, a few loose threads did appear at first (as other reviewers have mentioned), but considering the price and general quality, so far these are a great buy. Reviewers have also mentioned that the hemming is a bit off on some of the items, but it takes a really critical eye to discern this---and so what? They're for wiping the nose, not for wearing to a black tie affair. I'm pleased overall, and have even given them as a gift.10 months later, still a fan. They do have a few loose threads here & there, but have stood up to weekly washings on the cotton cycle and heavy tumbling in the dryer---and they're still soft as flannel with no color fade. You blow your nose in them---what's there to complain about?

After years of using only cowboy bandanas and white dress handkerchiefs I was pleasantly surprised to see these on Amazon. The quality is exceptional and right out of the package, they were very soft and comfortable ( The cowboy bandanas usually take 20 washings before they start to feel soft. But they wear forever. I literally have some bandanas that I have had for over 40 years and they are still going strong). The way these feel, I'm sure they are going to last just as long.

I bought these for my 97 yr old father and he has no complaints. His white handkerchiefs kept disappearing, and I discovered he was confusing them with white kleenex and throwing them away! They seem to be holding up to the laundering in the care home where he lives.

"Does what it says on the tin," as my British friends will say. Great simple, inexpensive, brightly colored handkerchiefs. I'm actually not tremendously crazy about the BROWN color, but it works perfectly fine as a sweat-mop for my brow. There may be some threads coming away at the edges, but for the cheap price I'm perfectly content.

These handkerchiefs look nice, but the material is low quality and the sewing is really bad. Seamscoming apart after the first wash. I would not recommend these.
