Natural boars bristles are gentle to teeth and gums and their hardness can be adjusted according to your personal needs by following these instructions: before using the toothbrush for the first time wash the head in warm water. Every now and then pour boiling water over the bristles. It is recommended to use two toothbrushes: one in the morning, the other in the evening - this way the wood and the bristles can dry properly and the toothbrush stays hygienic and last longer. If you are using a wooden toothbrush for the first time you may need a few days getting used to it.

Will never go back to plastic toothbrushes!
I love that this is 100% natural. Thinking about how much plastics we use, I can't imagine how much I swallowed over the course of my lifetime just by rubbing thin bristles over my sharp teeth...I will admit that you get the occasional bristle in your mouth, but I would much prefer this barely noticeable inconvenience over the impact we have made on the world with cheap plastics.No taste, pleasant wood smell, and wonderful feeling brushing every day!

this is a very comfortable all-natural brush; handle is smooth and bristles feel nice. just give yourself a minute to get used to old-style design and larger head. i bought it again to have a spare. a great way to cut down on plastic.

Nice and natural. Of course once wet the bristles smell a bit odd. Size of the bristle surface is too big for a child in case you're planning to buy it for kids.

This is the perfect toothbrush. The bristles are comfortable against my gums. The wood is easy to grip. I will definitely order more.

Like a lot but, huh??
I have always wanted a natural bristled brush so I was pretty stoked to finally treat myself. Unfortunately, some of the anchors that hold the chunks of fibers into the wood have come out (and there’s no fixing or repairing... I tried ha) I’d say about 4-5 total, each holding a little clump of bristles so, kind of a bummer. The first one happened within the first week. I really like the stiff texture of the bristles and still use it, as it hasn’t completely disintegrated.Not sure if this was a fluke or maybe par for the course on these since it was my first.I would consider buying another one because the price was good and it has lasted, but will check into other comparable options before ordering again.

Poorly made.
Poorly made. Bristles came out in tufts within two weeks of use. Did not clean effectively. Would have liked to send them back.Had hoped to find a bio-degradable brush, handle included, so this was a disappointment.
