Yes, it truly does work
We installed... with skepticism... this device over a month ago, doing so because of the need for whole-house steam humidification in our very dry climate. Why? Our water is VERY hard, so much so, that the canister on our humidifier requires change at 2 month intervals... at a cost of over $200 NOT including service call (still, that's far cheaper than an ER visit or hospitalization for asthma). Previous to installation of the Eddy Descaler, there were always tell-tale signs of humidification failure. While it's still too early to be definitive (and yes, I plan updates), no indication at six weeks yet of canister failure exists. Further, hard water residue on chrome fixtures has lessened, and the time-span when the humification is in progress as opposed to not steaming is less... resulting in lower water and electricity bills. Our skepticism is receding almost daily, and we're happy campers.

The Jury is still Out!
Initially purchased to resolve hard water problem here in southern Texas. Did not want the cost or hassle with salt. Owner reviews were pretty good with an average of 3.8 and I tend to only purchase an item with 4.0 stars and above. I have decided to give this a try.Installed this on February 19th. Cleaned several faucets, toilets, water dispensers, coffee maker and shower head.. After a month only one toilet has returned with hard water deposits. The water does seem to have changed properties especially noted during rinsing of hands. Our hands feel softer.To get a fair assessment of this particular equipment I will have to buy a hard water testing kit. More to come. If your on the fence about this purchase I would hold off a little while longer.I would very much like to give this a fantastic report now after a 5 weeks of use but I am cautious. I will wait til about 6 months to report again.

No more rings or harsh cleaners
We have usee a descaler (eddy) for the last year, and have definitely seen a difference. It doesn’t change the water to soft water, but changes the composition so that it doesn’t adhere to our faucets, etc. It actually wipes away with a wet cloth. Read about it, it’s not for everyone, but we have extremely hard water and it has helped keep things looking better and lasting longer.

I Love IT. No more cleaning the water spots on ...
Was a lot of doubt, put the EDDY in line first coming into the house, I have 3 filters 5 microns each then a Marie Tank less Water Heater and a Post Hot Water Filter. ALL WHITE CALCIUM, lime build up is not showing up!! I Love IT. No more cleaning the water spots on the refrigerator, sink, shower glass, faucets etc.
