Good Christmas gift idea
The ornament comes flat-packed but it's an easy snap together assembly. It's produces a very pleasant low-intensity light in a great color, that has the look of bent neon tube but is much less expensive. You can run it off a cellphone power bank or it's own internal AA batteries to brighten up a dark corner; or where a wall outlet is available you can plug it into a charger to conserve batteries. Draws just 200 milliamps, so my cellphone power bank lasts about 2 days. Internal rechargeable AA batteries (1.2 volt) last about 20 hours. Alkaline AA batteries (1.5 volt) last longer and are brighter. It's well made and runs cool.
