It's the best book I've run into that will have you solve ...
I bought this book a LONG time ago. I've been looking for another copy for YEARS since I lost the original. As long as you have a Cube readily available to practice, the techniques presented will make sense. It's the best book I've run into that will have you solve the Cube in minimal steps. I've seen others who have solutions to solving the Cube. There steps are A LOT MORE COMPLICATED than what is covered here. Buy the book. Have a cube ready. You'll find in a relative short amount of time that you'll be able to solve any Rubik's Cube that comes your way.

Easy to follow with detailed photos
My 6 year old was able to easily solve the cube by reading and following the photos in this guide.

Best of three different guides I looked at. And way better than you tube
Best of three different guides I looked at. Was fairly clear and worked. And way better than you tube. Would only suggest more of a decision tree view.

Confusing
The whole book is confusing and hard to follow. There are better books for solving the puzzle. The best is the simple solution to Rubik's Cube by James Nourse. Just saying.

Easy to follow directions
I liked the clear explanations will excellent illustrations. I found it easy to solve the first two layers, but the third layer is a challenge. I could get the bottom corners properly oriented, but had trouble with the four edge pieces. I finally solved it today!

Worked fine until Step 5
First, note that color can be a disadvantage, since several algorithms must be used on any front color. It's easy to get confused when you're looking at red in the book, but turning green on your cube. That said, the algorithms all work... until you get to Step 5 (bottom row). It tells you to get "exactly one yellow corner cube face down". Not two, exactly one (is how I read this). I could never get it to that state no matter how many times I followed Algorithm 4. I always ended up with two yellow corners face down, which then made Algorithm 5 useless because I wasn't in the correct starting position. So, that's the end! No way to finish the cube unless I search for other training guides or figure it out myself.

Not as Easy as it Looks
Maybe trying to teach in a book is harder than it seems, but it’s much easier to watch a free online video. I tried learning with the book first and it was much more confusing than expected. I abandoned the book and watched a 30 minute video online for free, which was much faster and easier. I wouldn’t recommend this book, mostly because there is nothing “really magical” about it when you can learn the cube more quickly and for free online.
