These hinges are great. My old hinges were 10+ years old and had worn enough that gate was banging into the post every time you opened or closed it, especially when it was hot outside. I have metal gate with metal posts and metal fencing so when it was hot outside everything expanded slightly and allowed gate to hit post. These were perfect since you can adjust the space at hinge side to allow proper centering of the gate. Most of these type hinges have a wrap around design on your post that does not allow you to adjust the space on hinge side.

Added them to a community pool gate. Easy to install and add tension. Has last 8 months now, and still closes with the same force I set it for.

Perfect replacement fit.

I bought two other sets from Elite Fence company. They were more expensive and they have terrible customer service. So I found the same item on Amazon for less with great return policy if I needed to return them but I don’t.

Good hinges but no screws were included. The listing and picture says stainless steel screws included.

This was a replacement for one that we had and failed. This was perfect fit and also easy to install.

Bought 2 sets of these because the lawn service keeps leaving the fence gates open and we are tired of chasing the dogs through the neighborhood! Easy to install as the they had the same hole pattern as the old hinges. Very strong - no question they will close a gate when you set the torque up. Ours close now even if they are only opened about 6". One note - they do have a small area that sits between the post and the gate so you need about 5/8" clearance between the two for the hinges to sit properly. Take a look at the dimensional drawing and you'll see it. Definitely recommend.

I replaced and old wood door ininstalled myself some years ago with metal hinges for a new, nicer aluminum door. I received the recommendation to go with this hinge... it's really top quality, smooth, it closes slowly, and feels premium. I highly recommend.
