This is ideal for adding a splash of foam to a seascape or a little snow to a hilltop. Opaque white when you need it.

Good value for money

This watercolour paint is much better than my Cotman colour Chinese white for highlighting over another colour, although it is more expensive. It gets the thumbs up from me

Very nice paint but I would say it's much more like gouache. I bought it to mix with other watercolours to lighten them, but can't really do that now as it doesn't mix well with them and makes them too opaque. However because of this it does give nice highlights on its own

I didn’t find this white watercolour to be opaque and it was surprisingly difficult to blend. It produced the usual muddy grey that white watercolour is inclined to and I didn’t use it more than once. I’ll continue to use Winsor and Newton white gouache for highlights - although it’s a little more expensive, it is vastly superior to any other opaque white that I’ve used.

Good product but consistency is more like guoache

It’s so pigmented it reminds me a little of gouache. The box came with 3 tubes which I wasn’t even expecting! Love the quality.

I am taking a course on watercolor techniques. This tiny tube of Opaque White goes a long way. It is great full strength and in any degree of sheerness by adding water. The sample photo shows some dry brush technique and tinting.

I wish it wasn’t so expensive

I am a watercolor artist n I love to try different pigments. Van Gogh watercolor pigments are rich and smooth and can never disappoint anyone. I am happy with my purchase 👍🏼
