Godox V1 TTL Li-ion Round Head Camera Flash (V1-F for Fuji)

V1 is a professional level speedlight. But a beginner may as well use it with ease if he has some basic idea about flash photography. Modeling light is a boon as it gives a fair idea about the final output. All buttons are easy to use. Mounting on hot/cold shoe is made really easy with the new thumb flip as compared to traditional screw system. Round head may not give a soft light but a more pleasing effect is possible. Team up a couple of V1s with Godox Xpro trigger and AkR1 accessories one can have a fairly complete studio system. V1 has inbuilt receiver compatible with godox triggers. It is indeed a good sturdy product. It can compete any of the best models from Nikon or Canon stables. Worth buying.

Absolute fit for Canon 1500D

I have just bought Godox v1 and am very satisfied with the product. Its a versatile flash and AK-R1 kit is cherry on top. I would highly recommend getting the AK-R1 kit. The flash head rotates 360 degrees which is a handy feature while clicking pictures. The recharge time is around 1.8 secs which is okay for most situations. I clicked quite a few photos in a darker setting and I am really pleased with the results. If used the right way, the photo looks quite natural and its hard to tell if a flash was used. Quality wise there is just one small niggle - there is something rattling inside which was present in the first piece I got. I ordered a replacement for that and the second piece too has it. I've decided to live with it since it doesnt impact any functionality. The replacement itself was smooth and no questions asked. so 5-stars for that to the seller. The packaging was well done with additional boxes inside so the product does not keep rolling around.

The flash recycling time was more than 10 seconds or i have to turn off and on to use again. I have requested for replacement on 24th May and the order was picked on 25th May. There is no further updates on replacement status and delivery date. Sick of contacting customer support as they are not able to confirm the delivery date.

Well i just purchase this product after having seen round head flash uniform light spread and the option to mount AK-R1 in a much cheaper price than Magmod. Prima facie, it is an excellent flash with quick button option than V860ii. The magnet power in its round head is sufficient enough and the items in AK-R1 kit hold it very firmly. The build quality is very good and the recycle time is around 1.8secs in 1/1 power. Also it has the option to scan the best channel for wireless connection. Overall satisfied

Versatile product with exceptional build quality at reasonable price. Easy to use, for beginner it has a bit of a learning curve.
