Very informative.
Perfect book for deeper insight at jewelry making. Absolutely thrilled about this book. Instructions, description and pictures, everything exactly how it should be. Would give it more Stars if there where more available lol

Clear instructions.
One of the reviews stated that this was a very beginner book. I am someone who is a little beyond a beginner and found this book to be very helpful because it has very good explanations of tools and procedures which, while I knew some of the information, gave me more insight as to how to be a better creator.

I'm so happy I purchased this book! It's a keeper for sure.
I am a beginning beader so I have a million questions. I purchased (3) books that different reviews suggested would answer my questions. I could have just purchased 200 Beading Tips, Techniques & Trade Secrets by Jean Power. This book starts out answering the base questions and has pictures to help you understand the concept. She shows the tools you need and has some wonderful tips that made me think - "I'd never have thought of that" several times each section. It has a wonderful Glossary and a very helpful Index. I doubt that I will get around to reading the other two books because I just don't think I'll end up with any unanswered questions. What are natural beads? How do you make a good knot? What tools do I need; what do they look like: how do I use these tools. Using thread, wire, cord or ribbon it shows you the tools, knots, and just about all you need to know to make beautiful jewelry. I'm glad I have it and doubt that I will ever feel that I don't need it any more.

Great resource
This is a great resource for anyone creating with beads. Upfront covers tools, accessories, and supplies. Then a section focused on beading methods. Be aware that almost half of this book is focused on bead weaving, if that’s your thing you’ll love it. Great photos and descriptions throughout with some resource pages in the back.

So many projects, so little time!
I love this book! From beginning to end, this book explains everything you need to know about how to make beaded jewelry. Not only does it explain the various tools that are available, but it also shows how to use each tool and when. For each technique, it provides a project to try, noting how many beads of each color are needed (but also makes it very easy to substitute your own favorite colors). Learn how to make necklaces, bracelets, earrings, etc. I highly recommend it if you’re brand new to beading or even if you have some experience with beading, this book will enhance your knowledge.

Good tips!
Like the factual information. Covers a lot fundamentals. Goes in order of what you should know. Layed out well. Helped me with couple things I was struggling with. Gets into more complex beading at the end of the book. This book will help a lot!!

I had never stitched a bead before...
I bought this book because I was curious about bead-weaving. I had never stitched a bead before. Since reading this book and working the various stitches it's taught me, I am now hooked on bead weaving. Right Angle Weave, Peyote, dutch spiral, even the seemingly difficult St. Petersburg chain and Herringbone, I can do them all and love beading them! This book is perfect for any beginner who wants to learn how to make seed bead jewelry but always thought it was too complex. I purchased this book not knowing a thing and shortly after learning the various stitches and beading 'language' I find myself mixing stitches for unique pieces and even selling a necklace! It is my 'go to' book if I forgot how to do something and the diagrams could not be more comprehensive. Many books just show shaded diagrams and I found them hard to follow. This book takes you step by step and includes photos of a person holding the beads with thread in hand, so you can compare what your doing to what it 'should' look like. There are also correction photos: 'does your work look like this?' is written next to a photo which often times I would answer 'yes..' They then tell you exactly what was done wrong and how to correct it. I can go on and on about how this book inspired me and taught me but I will end my review with this: If you ever thought of bead-weaving and are searching for a book that is easy to follow, will teach you the language, tools, bead sizes, what to watch out for, and what materials work best - then look no further, you found it.

Has A Lot Of Good Techniques
This is a great book. I have learned several things as a beginner. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the book was torn.
