Does the job!
I needed a cone to keep my Shepherd from constantly chewing a hot spot on his skin. This cone definitely does the job. It's one piece, easy to place, and fits him comfortably. There are two velcro strips to adjust tightness. I prefer this one to the gargantuan 3 piece one from the vet. I can easily remove and replace it so he can eat and drink comfortably. For reference he is 100 lbs 21 inch neck, I bough the XXL and it fits him perfectly. Good product, would recommend.

Worked 'mostly' for rottweiler
Got this cone as an alternative to the giant cone from the vet after our rottweiler puppy (9 months and 9ilbs) got fixed. Ordered the 2xl and his neck is 22in. The size fit great and we had room to spare. Actually had to tighten it which created our problem. Because we tightened it, the excess material was accessible to chew. I had tried flipping the cone inside out so that the excess material would be on the outside, but could not get his collar through the loops so that the cone would stay on. Quite possible user error for that and I don't think he would have gotten to it if I had used the extra velcro to keep it down. Although he chewed the material, I'm still impressed with this cone's durability. He has run into trees, rocks, walls, you name it and it hasn't cracked. I would agree with a different review that mentioned the velcro housing bacteria. I wouldn't recommend this if your animal has a wound around their face or neck. But for short term use it has been great. He seemed much more comfortable in it than the one from the vet.

Great Recovery Collar, Minor Issue with Packaging
I bought the Supet Dog Cone Collar for my dog after his surgery, and overall, it's been a great product. The collar is adjustable, so it fit my dog perfectly, and he didn’t seem too bothered by it once it was on. It was comfortable enough for him to eat and drink, and it definitely did its job in keeping him from licking his incision site. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it arrived with a slight bend in it, possibly from packaging. It wasn’t a huge issue, though; the collar still worked as intended and did not affect its functionality. After a little adjusting, it was fine, and my dog had no trouble wearing it.It’s made of a soft, flexible material that doesn’t irritate his skin, and it’s easy to clean, which is a huge plus. It also held up really well throughout his recovery process. All in all, it’s a great collar and has been very effective for post-surgery care. Just be aware that the packaging might cause a small bend, but it shouldn’t stop you from using it. I’d still highly recommend it!

Great product, great price
The large collar fit my 60pound lab mix perfectly. It is very well made and easy to get on & off of him. He seems to tolerate it well but gets upset when the hook part of the velcro gets stuck to the rug that he likes to lay on…lol After it happened a couple of times I started making sure that the velcro stays on top of his head.

Well Made but Poor Design
I hate ever having to use plastic cones but our only other option was an inflatable and we knew that would not work. So....this is a well made (covered at both edges) but poorly designed (IMHO) dog cone. I measured several times before I ordered and then when I received the cone and found it did not fit I measured my dog again to confirm that the original measurements were correct - they were. The SINGLE wide strip of velcro at one end really limits the fit options especially if you have to go more by snout length than neck circumference. When I put this on our Dobie pup and tried to size it to fit his neck there was only a narrow portion of the velcro that could be used. He flung his head once and the cone came right off. Unknown to me at the time I ordered the Supet cone is that recovery cones have progressed a bit since I last used one. The one I got from our vet, while not as nicely made as the Supet, provided many more sizing options - instead of one single wide velcro strip it has 5 hook and 5 loop strips about 2 1/2 inches apart so you can find the hook and loop that fits your dog's neck size and either trim the excess or tape it down. It also has two slits thru which to run a tie of your choice to secure it to your your dog's collar. The cone I got from our vet is VET One - Easy Fit and it was!

Best cone!
My lab has had two surgeries now for mass cell tumors. The first one he had one of the traditional cones you get a petsmart with the plastic clasps that you slide through the slot and then turn. It was such a pain to put on because he's a wiggler who definitely did not want that thing on, so getting those plastic pieces through the slots was difficult to say the least. I figured with his second surgery I would try finding something different. I was told not to get the donut kind because they don't do anything to prevent licking, so I went on the hunt for a better, traditional cone. Let me tell you. That velcro makes ALL the difference in the world. All it takes is a quick slip around the head and it's on. And this velcro is STRONG. We got the XL for our 78lb lab (it fits perfect, for those who need a size suggestion) and we have to use some muscle to pull it apart. I will say that if you have a dog who is afraid of loud noises, this is probably not the best option for you. The pulling apart of the velcro is loud because of its sturdiness, combine that with how close it is to their ears and it probably won't be a good situation. My dog would try to take on a dinosaur roaring in his face, so the noise didn't bother him at all. The other thing we love about it is that the plastic is really pliable so when he lays down, it molds underneath him so he can lay comfortably, but the top also doesn't flop over and lay on his face. As far as cones go, this is a pretty solid one. 10/10 would recommend and buy again!

Great for bites protection
Finally - I use cones to protect from dog bites and these cones are strong and long and have protected me from biting dogs (I'm a dog groomer). I have 1 in each size and I absolutely recommend these. I can see they might be too long for recovery dogs for eating and walking around but again used for preventing bites - perfect length!
