John Deere OEM Easy Change Conversion Kit (AM131611, MIU13767, AM125424) - MIU13767B

If you own a newer John Deere rider with the Quick Change oil change feature, buy this set up and change it from a quick change to this. Hear me out. The quick change system costs about $60-$80 each change and takes about a minute to change on the machine. No mess, relatively quick and easy. The problem? You’re leaving between 1.5 to 2.0 quarts of dirty oil in your mower. It is convenient, but it’s also expensive and ineffective. This retro fit is simple to install, takes maybe 15 minutes, and when you’re done you drain the oil more from the bottom of the engine from a tube, and you WILL get 3+ quarts of oil out using this method. I guess if you’re going to change the oil yourself, you might as well Change it all! As usual, YouTube has some great videos to help you out if need be.

It is best to buy this genuine article. Many have reported incorrect threads on some of the other brand products. It is correct and as advertised. An 8mm socket, a 13/16 socket or wrench, a 1-1/8 socket, and a 12mm Allen wrench will be needed for assembly. There are videos outlining the installation of this kit. This is far better than the filter system that it replaces.

Good riddance to the quick change scam. Have lots of rags on hand. Oil will be everywhere, even drained. Wipe up well. Underside too. This is so much nicer not paying that premium for quick change.

I bought this for my Husqvarna 25HP Kohler Garden Tractor. I saw this on you tube and the quality is amazing compared to the other ones out there!No leaks so far.

I love being able to give my customers an option where they will save money versus the so-called Easy Change oil filter. This still keeps everything under warranty and is OEM John Deere products.
