Projects time on wall or ceiling.
I've always wanted a clock that projects on the ceiling or wall so that I don't have to keep turning until the time comes into view. You can turn up the brightness of the projected time but I wish I could turn it up just a little more.

Super little package!
Upon opening box, cord and power adapter dropped unnotice out of box. Submitted request for another and gave 1 star. MY BAD!!! Located cord and adapter on floor under toe-kick.This little clock replaces an old Sony projection clock/radio that aged out. This new clock/radio is just the right size, has easy instructions for set up, a "coin" battery for backup power keeping all the settings when unplugging and moving clock (old Sony model used 9 volt - one of the worse batteries ever conceived). The projected time on the ceiling is great - can adjust focus (cheaper units can not), and adjust brightness (old Sony job could not). Super little projection clock/radio with great features and priced less that half my old Sony - I'm a HAPPY CAMPER!!! JW

Alarm clock
It's an okay alarm clock. I like how the time reflects on the ceiling. So at night time I don't have to roll all the way over to look at the clock. I can just look at the ceiling. But it came with a battery so if the power goes out the clock is supposed to stay on. That does not seem to be working. Possibly the battery is no good. So I have yet to buy another battery for it and to see if this feature works. Because it's important sometimes during the bad weather. When the power goes out, I need to rely on an alarm clock to wake me up in the morning to go to work. So I will admit a part two to this after I get a new battery. But otherwise. It's kind of complicated. It's hard to memorize how work everything. My old alarm clock is simple. With my old alarm clock I don't need paperwork to try to figure out what to do on it. You just look at it and know what to do. Life is complex enough. I'd like to purchase something that I don't have to sit there and try to read the directions and for an hour to figure out how to set the clock or change it.

Gave as gift because...
.. I had purchased this same type of clock before and love it. Gave as a gift to a friend who thought it was neat. Indeed it is! Radio, radio alarm, regular alarm, snooze, date, day of the week, time, temperature, projection with color and brightness settings along with projection position (ceiling, wall wherever you want) -- display on clock can be adjusted to color and brightness also and there is a USB charging port on the back. It is a little bit of a challenge to set but not too hard and once you have, all works great. Back up battery keeps time and alarm, but you will need to reset the projection. Not a big deal. Really like this clock!

Stupid and annoying
So complicated to setup. Which is often because it loses its settings. Projection is terrible Fidget it if you have a high vaulted ceiling or a wall to its right.
