Tatcha The Kissu Lip Mask, Overnight Lip Mask, Visibly Plumps and Softens for Lush Lips, 9.0 g, 0.32 oz

I purchased my first jar of this lip mask February 2023. I was just getting into Tatcha products and wanted to give this one a try.The results are truly incredible. I am on my fourth or fifth jar now and have these set up in a subscription. I use it every night as the last step in my skincare. I’ve seen some videos of people using the spatula to not only scoop but also apply. I just use the spatula to scoop and then apply with clean fingers.I lightly swipe the mask over my mouth with my finger and then gently pat it in until it’s no longer tacky. If you over apply, it can get a little sticky, but it’s not the end of the world. Guaranteed every single time I wake up I have had soft moisturized lips that lasted the entire day. I used to struggle with chapped lips, especially during winter, but that’s no longer a problem in my life since I started using this product.I would also like to note that I have sensitive lips and have realized in the last few years that many chapsticks cause me to have allergic reactions. I have never had an allergic reaction to this formula, which is a huge plus.I know the price may seem like a deterrent but this is a worthy investment. On days where I have forgotten to bring a lip balm with me while at the office or on a hike, I’ve been able to survive without having uncomfortably chapped lips because this mask has helped keep my lips so healthy. Granted, I hydrate every day and don’t pick at or lick my lips very often. In my personal experience, using this as an overnight mask has enabled me to comfortably go an entire 24 hours without lip balm application.Packaging wise, it comes in a cute little purple cardboard box. The jar is plastic but it has a tiny bit of weight to it. It definitely doesn’t feel cheap. I store it in the original box in a drawer but it’s quite cute, I am sure it would fit in any minimalist washroom aesthetic. The lid is easy to twist off and on.I have yet to try wearing this under lipstick, but the formula is very smooth and lightweight. I am sure it would work great. If you are looking for a great lip mask that will end your days of chapped lips, definitely give this one a try. Cannot recommend this highly enough.

I have been medically diagnosed with having dry lips and was using a lip ointment prescribed by a Dermatologist but honest Tatcha lip mask outweighs the results of my prescribed medication and I don’t have to use it as often, my lips retain their moisture

I’ve tried a handful of lip treatments, but this Tatcha Kissu lip mask is hands down my favorite! The texture of this lip jelly is so smooth, smells amazing, and best of all isn’t sticky. I usually apply it at night, and by morning, my lips are noticeably softer. (Honestly though will put it on through out my day though too.What I love most is that it actually stays on through the night! Definitely part of my night routine now, and forcing it to be a part of my husband’s too! Highly recommend!

I have used this only twice and am so amazed with the results, I’m here to write this. A little goes a long way. Then it just absorbs. Not sticky or tacky. And as it absorbs, it just vanishes the dry skin. I had one of those dry, hanging pieces from biting my lips as a nervous tick, and it’s literally gone after two uses. And the first use was after getting it last night in the mail and had to shower so it kind of got washed off. I think my lips look a bit plumper as well. Hands down the best lip mask I have ever purchased!

Ok, I am a fan of other products from this brand. So I decided to give this a shot and can I dare say I like it, not love. Nothing special, nothing terrible. Not overly sticky but stays put. Of note, I don’t use this as a lip gloss or chapstick, thick but weirdly not sticky. No smell, soft lips. I’m not crazy about products in a pot for sanitary reasons but I apply this after my nighttime routine so my hands are clean. Go ahead, give it a go, you decide.

This lip jelly is beyond amazing! I don’t like chapstick that gets caky on my lips. Lip gloss is ok but I only use when going somewhere. I needed something that keeps my lips hydrated but not sticky and has no color and is clear. I found this lip jelly and I am obsessed. I put it on several times a day and my lips feel great. I like the consistency and take with me everywhere. I had to order a new one because I lost my last one on my trip to Italy. I love the little spoon!

Overall, I like the product & will use it until it’s gone. However, I’m not sure if I would buy again at this current point.The formula itself is solid. It has a great texture, goes on with good coverage, & you don’t need a ton of product which helps justify its cost. That being said I tried it in my skincare fridge for a few days & was let down that it didn’t really provide a cooling effect. I know that’s not what is intended, but it would be a huge step up to use a glass jar with metal applicator given its jelly like texture.The plastic applicator is a huge missed opportunity. I would be so okay with paying a couple dollars more for a metal applicator. I’m autistic & I use my skincare routine to stim & I refrigerate my skincare tools & products if possible.There is no tray or holder for applicator. Again, autistic person here. I’m very clumsy, & I am always dropping the applicator to the point I had to tape it on the cap.With all my woes, I still love this product & use it every day multiple times a day. I give this feedback in hopes that these changes can be implemented, hopefully by the time my jar is empty 😌😂

Its smooth, soft and luscious. I feel my lips getting softer after wearing this for a bit. The spoon is always adorable and useful. it's a bit pricey but if you're ok with it I would say buy!!
