I threw 2 throw packs under my houses crawl space 6 months later the 2 packs haven't been touched.
I share a duplex house with just a crawl space. Never had a mouse problem for 60 years in this house till my neighbor died and the house next door has been vacant for 3 years. It started around April of 22. I didn't know what I had. Put out glue traps and started catching them. Tossed 2 throw packs under the back extension of my house. 6 months later I checked today still hasn't been touched. I put 2 under the middle of my house through a trap door and one bag was scattered and the other still there, I put 2 under my neighbor's house at the same time and checked today they were still there. I hadn't caught a mouse in 2 .5 months. Now, this week I caught 3 this week in traps. I tossed another 2 packs under my neighbor's house today and one in the middle of mine through my trap door. Checked today it wasn't touched. I'll wait and see. I've checked everywhere for holes and sealed any and can't figure out where they're getting in. Just when I thought I was done with them they're back. I can't say if they are really good or not. A constant battle with them. So far they have proved useless.

So far, so good
I don't mean to imply that there's anything wrong with these, just that if they're doing their job it's a bit hard to know.I've always used traps in the past (the gray ones from WI, you can buy them here on Amazon) but I had a red squirrel start stealing them for the bait (peanut butter). So, I thought I'd try these.I eventually caught the squirrel and put out some traps again and none of the traps has yet "fired". I have a barn that mice can easily get into, so if there were any mice I'd expect to see one or two in the traps. Nothing as yet. Unless these goodie bags are working. Maybe I'll find some carcasses later. If I do, I'll bump this to a 5-star.

RATS EAT CARS
I lived in a retirement home (now closed) and my parking space was near my apartment, also near the dump site for our home. In the winter the local rats decided to make homes in the nearest vehicles. They go for the warmest area (recently parked cars with warm engines) and make themselves at home complete with leaves for bedding. For food they chew up the wiring so all the lights on my dashboard came on whenever I started the engine and would not go off. I took it into the BUICK dealer, and it stayed a few days for repair at the cost of $625. I asked the home owning corporation for reimbursement, but they said no because the rats did not belong to them. My best friend had an older KIA which cost him $1200 to redo the wiring as wiring harness were not made for his older model car. It cost him $200 to have the rat homes and feces cleaned out before the KIA dealer would even work on it plus another $100 to clean up the inside of the car after sitting for months. I put the rat packs under the engine near the front wheels where the rats would climb in an no more rats' nests in my engine. I have since moved since the dilapidated retirement home was closed down as a fire trap with old, bad electrical wiring and contaminated drinking water. Good riddance. The rat packs do the job, very cost effective.

Worked for the Big One’s
I gave a 2 star because it worked for the Big mice, but the little ones were left without mom&dad running crazy all over the place looking for mom they didn’t touch the bags at all, I had to throw poison with peanut butter to get rid of them. So the 48hr thing was real an it took a few more days with poison to get rid of the ones that were left, now my dogs are way more calm those little mice had them all over the place an barking like crazy especially at night. I put foam insulation a foil in the holes by my fireplace also with poison to make sure they don’t come back 😬 they were worse this year than ever before. I know poison isn’t safe always especially when you have kids an pets, but I was at my wits end with them because this is our home not theirs find somewhere else to be!Ps..when you throw the poison make sure it’s all gone where you left it a clean that area up a disinfect all around sprinkle cinnamon in the area because they don’t like that!! Good luck
