Scala Women's Paper Braid Hat with Dimensional Brim

Bought one locally a number of years ago, it quickly became my favorite! I wear it gardening, to the store, everywhere, it's super cute & fits my large head perfectly & comfortably with the stretchy inner band that retains it's stretch. This one came with the perfect solution for those with smaller noggins. I'm so excited to have a newer one to cover my hair when I'm too lazy to fix it. I'll still wear my old one gardening. It just doesn't look as nice with all the years of sweating! Can't say enough about the quality of these hats! They are amazing!

I have purchased hats and fascinators the world over. Some very spendy bespoke designs, and some cheap as chips at tourist spots-- but never without trying them on! Price is NEVER a guarantee of quality. THAT said, there is NO FINER, MORE CONSISTENT BRAND that I NEVER hesitate to buy than SCALA. They do not put their name to garbage, as would be so easy to do these days. My first, beloved SCALA is still in production and I am a serial SCALA buyer. When I saw this model, I simply had to have it. AND THE PRICE WAS AMAZING ($33ish) PLUS free ship/free returns, it would be like choosing it in person, I thought. It came lightening fast and though shipped in a bag, was packed like fine Limoges and came out ready to wear, not even a wrinkle!BUY. THIS. HAT.The flirty, soft black ribbon is top quality. The interior band is soft and SO comfortable. And as noted by others, a BIT *not tight enough* for a wind storm. But for a summer, straw hat, who wants TIGHT? The style is AGELESS and can be worn with jeans and a crisp linen shirt, or to an afternoon wedding with heels. YOU WILL WANT TWO.just sayin ;)

Love it. It fits perfectly, looks great and is made very well. This is a great brand. I have a spare so I can get wet and wear in the water but this one I’ll keep dry. It’s a beautiful hat, looks and feels great! Very stylish.

This hat looks very nice. It's big for my head. It came with two pieces of hat tape, but even after putting that in it's too big for me. It's also on the heavy side - which makes it seem nicer quality, but also starts to hurt my ears after a while from the weight pushing on the top of my ears. If it fit better, it would be perfect.

Love, love, love this hat! Excellent quality, perfect size & sun coverage for my head & neck& I love the rich color( tea) of the straw. Hope it lasts a long time & I will certainly purchase another Scala hat in the future. Also, it took a short time to receive it. Did I mention how much I will appreciate the UPF50 protection.

This is a high quality hat. It is a little big for my head and I was afraid it would blow off in the wind. I wore it golfing, but before I went, I made two “tucks” in the inside band and secured them with safety pins. Worked like a charm…never blew off despite it being quite windy that day.
