This sacrificial window fits over the lens and holds well, and I am confident now (after using it a few times) that it stays on (as I lost the original protection the unit came with).I am comfortable in promoting this cover to my friends.

Wouldn’t recommend. Nothing wrong with the product but there are better options like the photo camera iris with cheap sacrificial lens.

Fits the NVG30
Fits both the ocular and objective lenses of the NVG30. Great product, it does not impact the optics in any noticeable way. This lets you remove the eye cup while still protecting the ocular lens from debris and scratches.

Good as a replacement or spare.
I bought this just to have a spare. I leave it on all the time to protect the PVS14 from scratches and knocks. There really isnt much to these to get wrong. It's a clear piece of optical glass with a rubber surround. It appears to be identical to the one that came with my PVS14.

Does the job on a budget
Haven’t put these through any abuse but it fits and the lens are clear.
