Descent but just a little too glossy
I bought this because whal 1919 went up in price and whal 1919 comes in matte. This has a little bit of a sheen to it but some may like it. o, and the wife likes the scent.

Smells good, works ok for medium hold.
It smells good. Takes a while to dry but eventually dries without shine making it virtually invisible. Not the strongest hold, but does not add unnatural texture that some pasted do.

Tried quite afew different hair gels - this one was the winner
I tried quite a few different hair gels - this one was the winner. I used to use American Crew but it got kinda expensive. So I searched around and tried probably six or seven different kinds. I liked this best. Its there holding the hair but not too much. Can't really feel it once it is in the hair.

Lacks the classic Clubman scent
It smells like generic hair gel. I was hoping for that classic Clubman scent, but instead it smells like hair gel.
