Pretty box. Used it for gifting money.

Nice product. Inexpensive and clever. Yes it's stiff to open the first couple of times, so exercise it a bit before ypu gift. But I disagree with the bad reviews. Nice material, design, and feel.

Wonderful Box of Joy.

First, the product is advertised as featuring a hidden compartment in which one might place a "gift card"--this is simply false--the larger of the two compartment is too small for any gift card that I have ever seen. It will however, hold cash. The bigger problem is that, first, when the box is new, it is very hard to open -- the drawer sticks so that even you know how to open it, considerable strength is required to pull it loose (doubtful that any child could do this) -- we wanted to give the boxes to six children, so we opened and closed each one five times to loosen them a bit -- that worked on three of them, but on the other three, the third or fourth time they were opened, the "door" to the compartment broke off when the drawer was pulled open, rendering the box useless.

This was a Christmas present and they loved the cup! It was exactly how described.

I bought this for my 16 year old grandson as a different way to give him cash (which he requested) for Christmas. Although I finally figured out how it was supposed to open, my arthritic fingers had a hard time opening it…I’m creative though, I found “tools” to help lol. Small children would probably have trouble with it, it takes some finger strength. I got it open, put the money in and I hope he has the patience to figure it out. He’s a pretty smart cookie so I think it will be pretty short work for him. 😁 Enjoy.
