Great piece of kit for hedge trimming
Found the hedge trimmer easily on the website. Instructions were not difficult to follow. Easy to use. Quality work has been produced following using the hedge trimmer. Recommend this equipment.

It’s good, ideal for the garden with a lot of hedges.
I have used this over two. days now. Here is my thoughts.Weight, it is heavy, but it is manageable (most petrol trimmers are from what see even the expensive pro trimmers, from what I see most sit around the 5kg mark ).Starting, the trimmer started on 2 or 3 pulls even on the next day from a cold start.Noise , expect that - but again all / most petrol based trimmers will be. It is fine. Use ear defenders.Safety cut off switch - The little on and off switch is spring loaded, so it’s NOT easy to knock to off when it’s operating (great idea).Vibration - this is good , you feel very little.Twistable handle - this is a great idea, it really helps.Overall, I am delighted with this trimmer and would recommend it.

Good for purpose and good value for what I paid
Came well packed, Instructions were clear. Some confusion in the oil/petrol mix ratio but was clarified at 40:1. Initial start was good but run was unstable finally diagnosed by me as bad carburettor adjustment. I had the necessary tool, made adjustments, and in less than two minutes it was running sweetly.Other than the above it seems to be a well constructed item and fit for purpose

Lifesaver & Brilliant Cutter
After my other cutter broke and needed to cut my hedge I looked at the reviews and was reluctant however as of every amazon review you get the fake reviews, I went with my gut and this is the best choice ever. It as cut massive hedging and it's powerful a little heavier then my previous but that's cause it's powerful & better.I recommend this to anyone it's a lifesaver and it's the best cutter currently, I have had no issues so far.

Avoid poor quality
Hedge cutter is OK in build quality plastics seam cheap. I have had 2 of these the first one never ran correctly with hunting revs some times never picking up speed correctly returned. The replacement one started fine and ran well making quick work of the hedge, however once the job was over it never started again. I sent it a Mountfield authorised repair center who said that the coil pack had failed they ordered an new one from Mountfield, but 6months down the line with endless attempts by the company and myself to get the part none were available. Mountfield said they did not have the part and had no estimated delivery date. This hedge trimmer is good if it works but the product support and spare parts are poor. 2 out of 2 returned. Spend a bit more and get a reliable machine.

Good quality cut
Delighted with this hedge trimmer. Quite literally halved the time it took me with battery operated trimmer for all my hedges . Great quality cut and weight / balance is great . Only minor gripe is fuel tank isn’t large but suppose that’s offset with weightRecommended

Mountfield MHT 2322 - genuinely impressed
I'm genuinely impressed by the Mountfield MHT 2322.If like me, you aren't used to working with petrol-powered garden tools, they can seem enormous and heavy when you first take them out of the box. But don't be put off because in use, its not a problem. Our garden is bordered by a 7 foot wall which is about 35 feet long and completely covered in ivy on both sides and which adds about 2 feet to the overall height. Its a full day's work to clip into shape using an electric trimmer but the MHT 2322 made things so much easier I finished in about 3 hours - and made a better job of it too.To summarise my personal experience 1) the engine started easily 2) it isn't too noisy 3) vibration isn't uncomfortable 4) lightweight enough to operate standing on a step ladder 5) blades were easily able to cope with dense growth 6) reduced time and effort to compplete a tough job.

Does the Job.
I can't say I am an expert on petrol hedge trimmers, but this one is... well it's ok. Upgrading from an electric one, the two main things you notice is what a faff it is to start it, and goodness me it's LOUD. It's also pretty heavy so not the most comfortable to wave around from the top of a ladder. That said, once it warms up it does the job so I cant really complain too much.
