Cheap tool, cheaply made, but it works - sort of
If you re-screen window and door screens once a decade or so, this tool will get you by. It was inexpensive and its finish shows it. The wheels are full of dents and pock marks left by the manufacturing process. There are smears of some chemical, now hardened on the wheels as well. In addition, the concave wheel has such a small groove that it's hard to keep it on the spline while you're pressing the rubber spline into place. However, with all of these negatives, I successfully re-screened a small window frame and the tool did not cut the screen cloth during the process or give me splinters, so mission accomplished for the least amount of money.
