Received right on time, no damages, we replaced our old ones with these, and they worked perfectly and look good.

Update: Noise was the result of over-tightening te plate screws. This causes the plate to warp and not seal properly. Backing out the screws until the noise stopped solved the problem.It fits and mounts properly, but the rubber door does not stay firmly closed and creates a flatulent noise (think "raspberries" noise you can make with your lips) when another inlet is in use. A firm press against the door stops the noise. As if either the spring is not strong enough or, more likely, the seal is uneven. Happens with all the outlets purchased and installed.

Quality and durability at a good price.

I got these to replace old ones in my house for my beam central vac, but the hose fits just as loose as the old one.What's even worse is that the flapper doesn't shut tight enough when it's closed, so if you are vacuuming at another outlet in your house, air leaks into the closed outlets and causes suction loss in the system.
