Definitely worth buying
Amazing Ironing board, haven't had a new one for over 10 years, this one looks smart and as a 6ft person it's really good to have a taller ironing boards. It's well made and nice to use 👍

Just what I wanted a larger area to fit bedding and larger items making it easier to iron

Looks great, great size, easy to erect/fold away but has flaws! Shame as it is close to perfect.
Although I purchased this in January 2021 I did not dispose of my old one until February. I am a single male with not a lot of ironing so my comments although a bit delayed were relevant at the time of first use and still apply after nearly 4 months. The packaging for this was a bit poor as it arrived with the rubber feet protruding through the poly film and it had obviously been stood on the feet quite frequently during shipping which had ‘scuffed’ them quite badly, I did not consider this enough reason to request a replacement but the makers/distributers should think about improving this area of the packaging. It is a good looking board and as such I had wanted one for some years so I treated myself. The board is good and wide and both the length and iron cradle are excellent. The adjustment is very simple and easy to use whilst being positive and firm. Overall I like the whole design but there is one thing that other buyers might like to know, and one issue that I think is a real weakness in the design.A). When used for the first few times the powder coating gets stripped off the adjustment bar (see photos). On the first couple of uses I found a combination of metal/paint ‘shavings’ on the floor beneath the board and could not figure out what it was. It was not until the third time of use that I investigated and I realised that they had come from the adjustment rod. These ‘shavings’ could be a hazard for a child that might pick them up and try to eat them. In fact there is no reason to paint this rod, it would be better if it was masked out during the coating process.B) The second issue I have which others might live with, is that the quite thin metal the board surface is made from ’cockles’ upwards under prolonged heat in one place. I found this when ironing several hankies in the same area, then it ‘clonks’ back to its normal flat position after a few seconds of cooling. It’s a bit like a large scale version of those old tin toy ‘clickers’ that were popular some years ago. I find it a bit annoying and question if a thicker metal would be more in keeping with the quality of this board? It’s fine with sheets and larger items as you are spreading the heat as you iron. Thicker metal would put the weight up but it is quite light for its size/quaity.Would I buy one again? yes, as the overall design takes some beating but it is not perfect and would be close to it if the issues I have highlighted were sorted out.ADDITIONAL COMMENTS ON THE METAL TOP SINCE ABOVE. (11/8/21)In fact after using the board for a few months I find the 'cockling' of the top even more annoying, also what I had not fully realised is that it is in fact a 'gauze' so as well as distorting under heat it also allows steam which tuns into water under the garment you are ironing to leak through so after a lot of ironing I found a damp patch on my carpet. I assume if it was solid metal and not gauze this would cause trapped water to rust so no easy solution but it is a little annoying as I now have to put a towel on the floor under the board area!

My life has changed since I got this board
Alright, so Mum was on about me getting a proper ironing board – you know how mums are. My old one was a bit of a wobble fest and pretty low. Anyway, with a voucher in hand and a decent offer on Amazon, I went for the Ergo Mint Prozone Ironing Board. Got it for £37.95, a bit down from its usual £49.95.Let me tell you, it's actually made a difference. I know, who gets excited over an ironing board, right? But this isn't your average board. The cover’s got this heat-reflective thing going on, and it genuinely speeds up the ironing. No more going over the same shirt a dozen times. It's comfy to use, too, especially because you can use it left or right-handed. Doesn't sound like a big deal, but it’s a nice touch. The whole arm-aching saga is a thing of the past now. And the Flex Guide is pretty clever – keeps the cord out of the way, so no more fighting with the iron cable.Stability-wise, it's solid. No more ironing board wobbles, which is a relief. I even splurged on extra covers – not necessary, but why not?I mean, I didn't think an ironing board could be a life-changer, but here we are. It's a bit pricier than some, sure, but for the back pain it’s saved me and how much easier it’s made my life? Worth it. If you're thinking about it and can swing the price, I'd say go for it. It's a decent bit of kit for the daily grind.

Never again despite product being ok
It is always a shame when you have to write a negative review. Especially when it's not even about the product. The Minky customer service was, for me at least, non existent. They offered no support at all, denied any responsibility to even broker a resolution with Amaxon. I raised this issue that one of the feet was missing from the ironing board. When raising this issue on the order itself Amazo sends you to Minky customer service. They responded to 3 emails I sent asking for a replacement or assistance. Their responses were pretty much identical. It's not our problem talk to Amazon. As stated Amazon direct you to Minky. Could Minky have offered to support me in contacting Amazon and resolving the issue, one would imagine so. Did they, apparently I am not worth their time or energy. The dismissive and on one occasion rude response seems odd at a time when this matters almost as much as the product. I would have likely purchased other Minky products, now for the sake of a 30p bit of plastic or 3 minutes consideration they've lost a customer and while my influence is limited that I have I will use to recommend others do not engage with this company.

I love ironing!
I always have the same ironing board. It is a good size to iron on and wouldn't have a different one.

Nice board, not so nice cover
The ironing board itself is great. Good adjustability for height, sturdy and the ergonomic iron rest works very well. Under the cover is a thin insulating pad. Cannot complain about the actual board at all BUT the cover is flimsy, too large for the board, ill fitting so it moves when ironing and it doesn’t ‘like’ my steam generator iron at all because the ‘metallic’ dots seem to make the garment pucker and crease. I have completely solved the problem by putting my virtually brand new replacement cover from my old board on top. It’s 100% cotton with its own attached pad. I would recommend if you buy this to buy a cotton replacement cover straight away as the original is not fit for purpose! I will continue to use this board now and I hope it lasts 30 years like my old one did now I’ve solved the cover issue!
