In short, this is a good bed (5 star quality) - however, it has some scope of improvement. If I have to buy again, I would expect those aspects to be improved. Read on for more detail:This is my 3rd seesham bed I have bought from online portal (from different sellers). Quality of main structure of two of them were good, but they had cut corners on the quality of the ancillary items (like the bed board and the storage drawers). More concerning has been the finish - one of the manufacturer had sent a bed which had a severe mismatch between its height and the height of the drawer. Since the fault was discovered only after getting the bed fitted, it was a big hassle to opt for return/exchange, so I had to add height raiser so that the drawers can slide in properly.This one (my 3rd bed) I bought from EBansal. Quality of material seems authentic, but the best part if the finish part - everything fitted well without any hiccups.Before finalizing I was going through reviews and one of the reviewer had mentioned a problem of the head side board not being securely closed. Seems like the manufacturer has listened to the issue, and the one I received , has a click-locking mechanism- making it securely closed.Now what I'd like to see imporved:The head board needs to be at least 3 to 4 inches higher. One of the pronlem one the the reviewer has mentioned (of limitation in how thick mattress can it accommodate) - that limitation is still there.And if the cushion on the head-board is expected to provide support in working or watching TV in semi-upright position, then the it needs to be higher.So if the height of the headboard gets increased by 3 to 4 inches, then:1. the allowable mattress thickness can be increased.2. It will be possible to use it for semi-upright use.

The bed itself is good – solid quality and matches the description. No complaints about the actual product, which is why I’m giving 4 stars for that.However, the SERVICE EXPERIENCE was terrible and deserves only 1 STAR.The installation was extremely delayed, and the bed was left packed for more than three days, occupying unnecessary space in my home.Later when customer service contacted me, the lady I spoke to was incredibly rude. She had no updates whatsoever for the assembly of the product.Later, I got a call from Bansal Furniture, and thankfully they spoke more politely. They informed me that no request was sent for assembly—which was shocking because it was clearly mentioned in the product description that assembly is free.They admitted it was a miscommunication on their end.But things didn’t end there—today I received a call asking me to PAY for the assembly service. When I explained that it was written that it's included for free, he was still reluctant to believe me. I had to video call the guy on WhatsApp and show him the product page to prove my point.This whole situation was mentally exhausting and frustrating. The poor coordination and rude behavior turned what should have been a smooth experience into a case of mental harassment.My suggestion to future buyers:GOOD: The product is worth it.BAD: But be prepared for poor after-sales service.GOOD: Double-check your order details and screenshot everything, especially if it says free assembly.BAD: Don’t expect smooth communication—it was a mess.Amazon and the seller really need to improve their post-sales support. It’s high time customer satisfaction was taken seriously.

Bed was delivered in two big packages and Ebansal arranged for assembling of the bed. It was a very pleasant experience buying from Ebansal. Thank you so much, I was worried about the cushion cover color on the headboard but its looking just perfect. Also the cushions are wrapped so there's no worries of stains or fabric getting dirty.Assembling people sent by the seller were also very nice and helpful.Amazon also arranged for assembling the bed but the person that came through Amazon was rude and created chaos, argued with my parents...I was able to contact the seller and ask if they arrange for assembling of the bed and they promptly did without any extra charges (i.e. issued refund for assembling charges). We did tip the people who assembled the bed apart from the regular fee taken care by the seller.Now about the bed:The bed is beautiful, frame is completely seesam wood but bed base and drawer base is plywood as described... Drawers are smooth to slide and very spacious... Headboard feels specially very comfortable. Best option for people who work from home, back feels much more supported than a regular headboard because of the slanted design and placement of the headboard cushions.I'll highly recommend buying from this seller.

I ordered this bed expecting a brand new, quality product — instead, I received a damaged and defective piece that completely ruined my experience. This wasn’t just any order — this was meant for my wedding day, and the condition of the bed was a huge disappointment.To make things worse, the seller tried to cover it up by sending a carpenter instead of replacing the product. Why would I want a brand new product repaired on day one? That’s completely unacceptable.Adding to the frustration, their representative Meenakshi pressured me into giving a 5-star rating even after I raised concerns about the damaged item — and flat out refused to help. I have screenshots of the entire conversation as proof.I regret buying this product and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. If you care about quality and service, stay far away. This was a terrible experience from start to finish.
