I installed this to replace the stock AMD Wraith fan that came with my 5600X. Under load, my CPU was reaching >90C playing Oblivion Remastered. I was shocked to find that this dropped operating temps nearly 30C and also gave me a 30% gain in FPS and a comparable drop in CPU use under load. It was incredibly easy to install (15 minutes) and is very quiet. All my case fans are now running at lower RPMs due to the drop in temp and the computer is much quieter. Overall this was an incredible value for $17 and I should have bought it day one when I built the computer.

I bought this to replace the AMD stock cooler for my CPU, where temperature hit over 80 degrees C while gaming. Once I installed this cooler, the max temperature on the CPU is always under 58 degrees. Not only did the cooler dissipate heat well but fan speed is lower and quieter too!

Vertical cooler makes sense for better air flow. I highly recommend this cooler. Cheap and effective. I'm using this to cool my i7-12k for my Plex Media Server and it's barely trying - that's how effective it is. And looks cool too. It's in a 4U ATX rackable case.

Fits as should and cools very well, good fitment. Those with am4 the cooler does not come with a backing plate adapter so be prepared for that.

The process of setting it up is really easy! You just need to use the associated standoffs (for me I used the red ones for my AM4 mount) and it’ll mount great! For people using this for their am4 motherboards you need a backplate already as the one that comes with the cooler only brings screws and standoffs for mounting. It cools my cpu really well as I noticed roughly a 10 to 15 degree Celsius decrease in temperature! It’s really quiet as well which I can appreciate and it’ll look good in your pc builds! if you do want more colors find the rgb one but this looks good as is.

Beautiful piece of design work. Just a pleasure doing business with a company like Thermalright. They even included thermal paste. Wow! Make sure you have the brackets facing the way you want your fan pointing.

I built a new PC and bought this little thing to replace the liquid AIO cooler in my old PC, which is 8 years old now. I've had an old AIO cooler leak before, so I didn't want to risk keeping an aging unit.It cools my i7-7700k at stock speeds just fine. I even ran a CPU stress test and it was stable at around 72C, a little warmer than an AIO, but cooler than I expected, and fully adequate. You really can't beat the value proposition at less than $20.The only criticism I have is that I wish the instructions for mounting were a little clearer. I was able to figure it out, but it took longer than I think others would have.
