Kelty Camp Galley Deluxe – Camp Kitchen Organization Kit, Deep Pockets, Paper Towel Holder, Zippered Compartments for Outdoor Cooking Essentials

We recently got into a camper with very little cabinet space so we started looking at how we might utilize hanging space to organize our kitchen. This galley has been perfect for our needs! We're able to fit our pots, pans, dishes, cups, cutlery, BBQ lighter, cutting board, and more in this!While stowed, we hang it on a wall from the top handle with a carabiner and when we need it open for cooking/meals we'll take it down, open it up and hang it in the open position to have access to to everything.This setup also makes it easy to have access to all of our kitchen stuff whether we cook inside our camper or outside and as a bonus we're way more organized than when we had more cabinet space in our previous travel trailer.This bag is pricey, but the quality and well-thought out function is worth it.

So we are avid tent campers, 2 boys, myself and my wife, so I’ll start with what I didn’t like. I wish 3 things…..One being the zipper- I wish it would zip from the bottom up so it opened up like a taco than you could sit it on the table and grab a glass or something quick without everything almost falling out. Two, I wish it was deeper. I’d love to be able to get our small stock pot and coffee percolator inside the bag but as I was saying family of 4 we carry 4 or more glasses and coffee mugs for momma and I so it makes getting bigger items in is a problem. Third and last of the not so negative side I wish there were more strap options it has a single strap inside and kinda gets shoved out of the way.No for the POSITIVE…..SOLID BEAUTIFUL BAG….eye catcher for sure! Lots of people came into our site wanting to know about it.Straps seem solid and sturdy while it’s hanging. Lots of utensils fit nicely into the zipper pockets. Solid bottom and it saved our butts when a massive thunderstorm came out of nowhere. All we had to do was un-snap two connections zip it up and throw it in the car. Before we would have had to take time to gather everything up and put it into the tote we no longer have to carry! Thank you Kealty for a darn good product. Now make it bigger for us tent glampers!

The Kelty Camp Galley Deluxe is a great addition to our camping gear. It’s a quality bag with a lot of storage space and some great features. It’s made with 600D polyester which is durable and easy to clean, and uses YKK zippers so opening and closing it always feels smooth.The storage area allows for a lot of organization. There are a couple of pockets along the back, allowing you to store some of the more flat items like cutting boards, knife set, plates, etc. There are two side pouches with elastic straps to hold down additional tools or longer items you may have. And the main base of the galley is wide enough to store some of the more bulky items like a pots/pans set. Up top there are three zippered pockets, two of which have a partial mesh area which is helpful for visibility to your items. There are also side pockets on the outside of the bag that can hold something thin.The bag itself can be hung using the straps, either from a roof rack, tree branch, etc. The bottom of the bag has cord that is detachable on one side so that you can hang a roll of paper towels if you wish.It’s a quality bag that I would absolutely recommend.

Excellent investment for my camping kitchen. I love how I can hang it from my pop-up and keep all my kitchen essentials in one place. It holds a lot and easily packs into my bin for storage.

The media could not be loaded. I finally got a chance to use this in a real world scenario. Here's what I found...The good:This Galley Bag can hold a LOT of stuff. I put a cutting board, set of knives, collapsible collanders, measuring cup set, measuring spoons, pot holders, kitchen towels, a set of silicone cooking utensils (with their round cup organizer), can opener, cooking thermometers, a set of silicone rubber spatulas, and basic spices. Probably a few other things as well. I had almost everything I needed (except the pots and pans) to cook.When you open it up, it hangs nicely giving easy access to all of the contents. I hung it from the top bars of our pop-up canopy. It actually worked well as extra weight to help hold the canopy down when we had some fierce winds.The not quite as good:The opening of the large section has a low threshold - a little too low. I have to use the strap to hold my utensils in place or they will fall right out onto the ground. A little higher and it wouldn't be a problem. Just make sure you use the elastic strap and it should be fine.The bottom of the bag has a string that can be used to hold a roll of paper towels. It's a little awkward to set up, but then it works fine. Just beware of wind. The roll of paper towels moves so freely that wind will unravel your roll and carry it across your campsite faster than a 2-year old with a roll of toilet paper.The material is durable and weathers the elements well. The zippers are sturdy and the pockets are roomy. It's a fantastic choice and the best I've found. Highly recommend.
