Carbide tips make a huge difference
Purchased these blades to cut off seized lower control arm bolts and shock bolts. I previous used Diablo thick metal non carbide tipped blades. They did work but very slow and blades wore out quickly. The carbide tipped blades lasted at least 3 times longer and cut much faster. These blades are expensive but I think they were worth it.

Great price for these excellent blades
Using these to cut thick cast iron and they do a great job when used properly where standard (non-carbide) blades won't do a thing. Keep the pressure high enough to raise a chip and don't overdo the speed. Making chips advances the cut, not just rubbing the saw teeth. A rocking motion is helpful to keep the surface being cut at about a quarter inch long; this helps provide enough pressure on the teeth for them to penetrate the surface. If the cut is flat and long, many teeth touch at the same time and none of them can penetrate. Then you're just rubbing and making the blade hot. Enough of that and the brazing will melt and the teeth will come off.

Good, but better luck with Bosch "Edge" Heavy Metal blade
Good product. I used all three that came in the package to cut up two 250g oil fuel tanks. I regret buying 9" when 6" would have been better for this purpose. Ending up going through all three blades (2" stretch gutted) to cut one Tank + a bit. Went to Lowe's and purchased three Bosch 6" heavy metal "Edge" blades made in Germany for about $3 each. They were cheaper and worked as well or better. Seemed to last longer.

Preferred blade for auto extrication
After testing this against other (more expensive) blades, we've found that the Diablo blades cut through a variety of material more quickly than others. It is our first choice for auto extrication where hydraulic tools don't have the reach.

Absolutely The Best
As a building contractor for 30 years I have not used a better blade as this.Today at work I went from cutting wood then cut many nails then cut up some black iron gas line.Same blade still going strong. I’ll use this brand from now on.
