I ordered this jar opener set because the rubbery parts on my previous jar opener were flaking off. I liked that this set came with a multi-size jar "unscrewer", a bottle opener/pryer, and a flat lid "grabber". If one of the openers doesn't work on my container, I can try one of the others. They are easy to use, and we'll see how long they last.They fit in my gadgets drawer where I can find them.

My biggest problem has been my difficulty opening seltzer bottles, specifically SPellegrino. I have used the small hand tool and it's like a miracle. I no longer have to get help or kook for a pliers. I am so glad I bought this.

That salsa jar was so tight it made the arthritis in my hands ache. I tried everything, tapping the lid, hot water, etc. So, that night, I ordered this set. It came a couple days later. When I used the large flat round one there was still some slippage, so I used the one that looks like a large nut cracker. There was a loud pop, and the jar opened immediately. Since then I have used the set for one tight jar or another. Every one of them opened with relative ease. (Did I mention cheap? They were inexpensive.)

This is a good opener kit that has multiple accessories for a variety of smaller bottles. In addition, the rubber bottle gripper is great for enhancing your grip on bottles. There are a number of gripping areas to accommodate different bottle sizes.My one complaint, is that the two included devices, not the rubber bottle gripper, are not suited for anything larger than a medium bottle. For example, I couldn’t even open a jar of Tostitos salsa with the even the larger of the two devices was far too small to fit over and grip the lid. For small to medium lids, it’s a great fit!

Amazon doesn’t sell husbands & that pickle jar won’t open itself - so this is a must have. Opens difficult items with ease so we can save our arm strength for the cats we will soon start collecting.

This is a great set for me. As I have gotten older (67) jars and cans have become more challenging for me to open. This makes daily tasks so much easier for me. I reach for them constantly. Highly recommend if you or a loved one has weak hands or feel that they are losing flexibility in the hands as well.

It works on some jars. Larger jars are just to big. Works great on opening the plastic water bottles. Seems sturdy.

These help keep our independence during the aging process, especially for those of us who live alone. I'm so happy I bought them!!
