Simple tech, works great... some flaws
See the photo and compare to the one on the product page. There is supposed to be another nut that goes on the threaded shaft, so you can mount this thing. I didn't get the nut. The product photos also show some insulation still remaining on the stripped ends of the wires; mine came stripped, but all messed up with no protection against flaying. I suppose none of those things is a serious flaw (most people probably do get the nut; otherwise it's annoying to have to source it, and I don't know the thread size).All that being said, the float moves freely on the shaft, the switch works (I measure 0.1 Ohms when it's on), and the construction of the whole assembly appears good, with what appears to be stainless steel. Fine for non-critical applications, hobby-type work and the like. Wish I knew what the contact ratings were, and wish I got my nut!

Simple, Non-corrosive, Reversible, Non-commercial
I got all the indicated parts and tested the switch in both configurations. Everything work wells. In an application with running (and pretty clean) water I haven't noticed any corrosion. Great value for a hobby project. Not sure I'd recommend for a commercial use.
