I've taken valerian root and camomile before, but they are much better at inducing sleep than at regulating daily stress levels. So, I've decided to try ashwaghanda and I have been taking the supplement for the past week and it has started working straight away. But it did take some time to figure out the best dosage and timing for taking this supplement. As ashwaghanda affects everyone differently, this will be different for everyone. One pill a day was too much for me, as (even though it made it calmer and helped with sleeping more soundly) it also made it groggy and sleepy during the day - not good when you have a high-pressure job where you always have to do presentations and think on your feet (one of the reasons for starting to take ashwaghanda). I've done some research and it was recommended to start from a smaller dose and take the supplement with a meal to minimise any drowsiness. So I took a third of a pill once a day at dinner, and it's been great! Even though I do feel a bit unmotivated to get up in the mornings, it's becoming less of an issue as days go by and I am definitely a lot more chilled out during the day. I am definitely a convert!

I suffer from anxiety and insomnia and I have to say this product has really helped me not only to relax and get to sleep in the evenings, but also to have a deep, restful sleep. I don't really believe in supplements and have to say I've tried other things in the past, but this one has really worked for me. I take one capsule about an hour before bed, two if I'm feeling particularly wound up or stressed. Combined with a good unwinding routine, this has me out like a light! I also take it in the mornings if I know I'm going to have a stressful day. Taking it consistently (a bit over a month now) has also improved my energy levels and my overall wellbeing. I find I'm, happier, more chilled out and relaxed since taking them.The caps are not too big to swallow and can be crushed if needed. They are suitable for vegans which is a great plus.I love this product so much, I'm on my second bottle.

It does relax and help sleep but after a while, I found it made me feel too tired during the day. So good to get over a few stressful days or to get some sleep but only for a few days.

I must admit I was a little sceptical about trying these - surely a simple herbal pill cannot be this good! Silly me. Not only my skin looks much healthier - I've been complimented how well I look (I have a rather demanding and stressful job so looking well is not a compliment I would often get before! ;)), but I definitely see the improvement in my energy levels, and what's more important an incredible improvement with my anxiety and stress levels! My temper is much milder, I don't snap so quickly anymore (a fact for which my wonderful, lovely, saintly partner is very grateful, no doubt) and I don't seem to get so stressed so quickly. I have suffered from a rather severe anxiety in the last few years and every since I started using ashwagandha I have been getting less and less anxious.I wholeheartedly recommend it! I have not suffered any side effects, have been getting more restful sleep and see nothing but improvements! One of the reasons I reached for ashwagandha was because my stress and anxiety were really getting out of hand and after a recommendation from a friend (who's incredibly zen, maybe that's what convinced me?!) I was getting to the point that I was willing to try anything to help me find some balance and get me back to my former, happier self - these have definitely helped me achieve that!

Super lifesaver for me, have already ordered 2 more bottles as they take about a week to arrive. Don’t think I’ll ever be without this again. Take 2 an hour or so before bed and see the results - easy to fall asleep and easy to fall asleep again in night if you get up frequently. I’ve been feeling better mentally since starting with these. I do also take gotu kola and 5 htp at nighttime so I don’t how they would be alone but I was already taking the other two and it was only when I added ashwagandha that I started sleeping better and deeper.

Tasted vile and I am usually able to take most medicines without fuss. Also repeated giving unpleasant stomach churning and bad taste for several hours after consuming. I did not use it after this. I also saw no improvement in any respect after taking it so presumably it works over a long period and I cannot think of suffering it for this length of time. Consequently I was extremely disappointed by the purchase. Needless to say this was not the fault of Amazon who delivered it on time and I can only say I have been pleased with other purchases I made through them.

Bought this supplement to help with my insomnia after reading the reviews.Prompt next day delivery with Prime. for the first couple of weeks this product helped me sleep quite a lot more than I had been doing previously, but the sleep was intermittent, found myself waking at least four times a night, did seem to fall back asleep quite easily though, do not know if I had been going in to a deeper sleep state, but was dreaming a lot more.However after a couple of weeks, they are working less well, and sometimes not at all,will have a break from them and try again, as my system might have built up a tolerance to them. would recommend for occasional insomnia.
