Lovely and sharp
Case isn't very good. But the chisels themselves are brilliant. Have a metal end cap so you don't bash the he crap out the end of the chisels and split the handle. Good quality chisels

Excellent set of woodworking tools
I had owned a chisel set many years ago which appears to have been lost during a house move. I had not needed one since but I do now.This set is unusual in that the chisels incorporate a steel striking plate such that a standard hammer can be used, saving the additional purchase of a mallet which you would normally need. Although the case may not be as strong or as well designed as it could be, it is adequate for the purpose and also allows a further saving by not needing to buy a reinforced chisel roll, some samples of which can cost more than half of the total cost of this set. The handle is rigid and not hinged but it is a slip-fit into a cutout in the case body and could be removed if required.With five chisels in the set from 6mm to 32mm, it allows work on several scales of project, and also includes a sharpening stone, a sharpening guide and a small bottle of oil. The extra-large 32mm chisel is larger than is usually included in most kits and the 6 and 12mm are a good combination when working at a smaller scale. The chisels are very sharp and I finished a lock-mounting in a matter of moments without needing a hammer or mallet. The thicker, triangular body to the blades add strength and rigidity and are an improvement on the traditional flat chisels previously used.Stanley hand tools are amongst the best available that are sold at affordable prices and I own several others, mostly screwdrivers of one sort or another, some of which I have owned for 4 decades or more.

Stanley a name to Rely on
Many years ago - and I mean over 70 years ago - when at school - I did my first woodwork class.From that day on I have always enjoyed working with wood - my first tool chest contained several Stanley tools - my first 'meatal ' plane - the ones at school were of wood construction.I added Stanley chisels as time went on - a brand I have never changed. They have always served me well.My latest set has been a great choice. Brilliant
