I've never felt so clean! However, it's a little rough and hard to use. Unsure if I'm even using it correctly. However, the soaps incredible. Often, i use with a African wash net & you're a whole nother level of clean. Fastly became a staple in my bathroom favourites.

I've been using this specific soap for years and somehow never left a review. I did stop using it for about a year and my face was breaking out all the time (and I was using expensive cleansers like CeraVe etc). Early this year I remembered to buy this again and within a few days my skin was clear (and has stayed that way until now. It has also massively improved some hyperpigmentation / dark spots I had on my face, neck and chest from previous spots/pimples. I also find that this soap keeps my skin from producing too much oil. My face is now way less oily than it was previously. I should add that I religiously wash my face with this soap every morning and every night. I have also successfully healed a couple of large tattoos by washing them with warm water and this soap (it's natually antibacterial). I love how simple and natural my face routine is now and how much better my skin looks. Even my partner said my face / skin is much softer now. Buy it - you won't regret it!

Steer clear of this soap. Not only did it inflame my eczema but it also has extremely sharp pieces in it. I thought it was rock salt at first for exfoliation but today it sliced my finger and I’m finally going to throw it away. I’ve purchased African black soap before and it’s been amazing, for my eczema and improving skin texture, toning, treating acne… but whatever is in this soap does the total opposite. If you can, buy locally instead.
