Honsell Mijello Mission Gold Water Color Palette Set, 36 Colors

I hadn’t heard of this paint until last year, I usually paint with Windsor and Newton or Daler Rowney, but after seeing someone using these on YouTube, I was very tempted, so took the plunge and got them, and I have to say I am so glad I did, they are extremely good paints, probably my favourite now. When squeezed out, the paint never seems to dry fully, it’s always very very sticky, but because it’s in a closed box, that doesn’t bother me, I haven’t actually used the pallet/box that came with the tubes of paint, I have squeezed them out into empty half pans in my own paint box which is a lot smaller and easier to handle. The paints are so nice that I have gone on to buy extra colours. They are vibrant and flow really well, I have nothing bad to say about these paints. Highly recommended.

This palette set is huge, there is a well space for each of the 36 colours and lots of mixing space beside the well and in the lid. The Mijello paint is superb, highly pigmented, smooth to paint, it feels very nice to paint with and the range of colours is great, the only thing I would change is to swap out the Ivory Black for Paynes Grey, although I suppose you could use the indigo. Overall, a really nice set, great quality and a very good price on Amazon.

I love these set of watercolours. All the colours are highly pigmented, and you really have clear and vibrant pictures. The colours are all intermixable, but you won't truly get a jumbled mess of muddy colours. The pictures I painted to test the colours shows the brightness of the colours. I would have to say that it may not be ideal for landscape pictures, I have used this to paint a Manga picture and it seems to give the style a bright and happy atmosphere which I wanted for the scene.

Really good watercolor paints, very vibrant and pigmented. Good range of colors, fits every artists as no colors are left out. You need to keep in mind that the palette is big, but if you take out the tubes it's very light weighted. Overall very good quality of both paint and palette, and will last you for a very long time.

The colours are good, very easy to use and draw with. However I’m not a big fan of the case it comes with. It’s so big and the way those little grids spread is hard for me to do a proper colour card to display the colors neatly.

They don't move or flow.These don't layer that well. New layers lift the previous ones, so if you do a lot of layers and glazing, these are challenging to work with.

I love these paints, they are very pigmented and a little goes a very long way so don't be put of by the tiny tubes.The pallette was damaged in transit but Amazon sorted this issue out wlvery quickly.Highly recommended paints.
