What a joy to read a set of instructions that are clear, well written and informative. Its rare these days sadly.The stuff works well and is easy to use. But read the instructions; don't just slap it on and rinse it straight off again.

Just thinking of the nits I have had to deal with over the last couple of months & my hair stands on end! My daughter has never had nits till now (lucky us) and she is now 11 and somewhere these little creatures came into our lives and showed no signs of wanting to leave. I started with trying the natural route tea tree etc essential oils – the scratching stopped for a while and then started again and I repeated everything I did the first time – still they returned. I gave in and purchased a solution, but again, they came back. I purchased this after reading some solid reviews as well as another nit comb. This item does include a little nit comb but it is small and with long hair, I think it would be a challenge. My daughter has recently had her hair cut quite short, so the comb worked well for us and it worked very effectively to removing the monsters that lurk in her poor head of hair!I was impressed (not overjoyed - more shocked) but also relieved with how much I removed from her hair the first go. Yesterday I did her hair again – after 7 days and I only found a few stranded nits hanging out – I didn’t really read the instructions if I’m honest as to how much to use, I just filled an empty spray bottle and sprayed enough to completely soak her head in this greasy solution (it is EXTREMELY greasy and a serious struggle to wash out) but if it removes the nits its completely worth it if it works. My daughter does have thick hair and I spent a good couple of hours really combing through each strand of hair with care. I have to say I really do believe this stuff works well. Only because this is the only solution that after applying just once I noticed the scratching had completely stopped and this poor kid was scratching till she was red in the face – she really was riddled in them!No scratching at all now, very few nits were left after doing the 2nd application. So, I’m crossing my fingers that this is IT now!Note: It would be really useful if this came in a spray bottle as it really needs to be sprayed on for a more effective application.

So easy to use there was no smell it worked so well only needed to use it once and my sons hair was clear after and his har was also really soft after i hope other people will use this for there children

Worked well was easy to apply and didn't have an unpleasant odour

After using another 5 minute treat.. 3 times none the less and still getting crawlers, I got extremely fed up and used this one.. and this worked the very first time.. highly impressed and I would absolutely recommend this

Always found this one to be the best.Easy to use and really helps extract the nits.Comes with the comb, which is metal.No smell.

Doesn't always work sadly

Unfortunately I discovered that my child had nits, thankfully this product was next day delivery.I decided to also use some in case I had caught them, my child has waist length, not too thick, straight hair. I have very thick waist length curly hair (in fact my hair is so thick and curly, I actually couldn’t get the comb through my hair very well- tip straighten your hair before applying oil as it makes it a little easier to comb through) and this bottle was enough for the both of us to use and for my child to have a second treatment (I showed no sign of nits- so didn’t bother with the 2nd dose).It works amazingly and the comb provided was better (closer teeth) than one I previously had, so removed even more bugs and eggs. It is an oil but very watery and not that easy to apply to one’s own head with such long hair without it going everywhere, so maybe lean over the bath.But one thing that is a pain…it has been approx 3 months since use and my child’s hair gets so greasy now. I used to wash it every 3rd-4th day, but now she needs to wash her hair almost every 2nd day.But it was a case of having to use the product and I would use again if needed.
