Dead ringer for Flixonase
Flixonase is the only nasal spray which my nose benefited and worked well with an antihistamine tablet. The tablet I take during the day and the Flixonase before sleeping. However, owing to cutbacks the GP won't prescribe this any more and I couldn't just buy it as it is POM. Found tie Pirinase to be nearest retail, non-POM, one could just buy without prescription. This Pirinase comes in various colours of plastic cap but when it is in green colour, and if you ignore the label, you could mistake it for Flixonase. Not happy with Amazon; good job I did a test purchase befor ecommitting to large batch order because the one arrived only had 8 months before expiry. whereas most medicines, if they were recently produced have a shelf life of 2 to 3 years. Shall revert to sourcing from supermarket. I suffer from year round rhinitis, of course specially worse from March to September (UK) with hayfever. Sometimes I end up working in Saudi Arabia where it is hot and dry and temperature of 55, or I get assigned to hot and humid such as Northern Territories (AU). Whatever that does to medicines can't be good so the longer the shelf life I can get them the better.

Absolute godsend for allergy sufferers!
Can't believe I didn't find this sooner! I work in an air conditioned office (it's cold with a constant draft) in a plastics factory which for some reason, causes me to have a constant runny nose, watery eyes, drowsiness and sneeze all day long..I'd go through a pack of tissues a day! I had tried all kinds of allergy tablets etc, however nothing would resolve this making my working days so uncomfortable. I saw these and purchased it based on other positive reviews and I am so impressed with the effect it has taken within the first few sprays! It's completely eliminating all my symptoms to the point where I'm not blowing my nose once a work! I feel so much better and healthier. No longer feel like I have a permanent heavy cold. It isn't uncomfortable to spray up your nostrils either, doesn't sting or smell, it just feels like a spray of water. I do this first thing in the morning before leaving the house. So anyone who is full of allergies and has a sensitive nose, purchase this...you really won't regret it!...Only negative...it could be a bigger bottle but the price is good for what you get.

Easy to use
We both suffer from Hayfever and sometimes it can be really crazy.Package Content:1x Hayfever Nasal Spray1x LeafletWith the summer come in early this year the hayfever has been really crazy and very irritating. Using is quite simple, simply insert the nozzle in your nose and push the bottle to spray in. It will start its magic in few minutes. It certainly reduces itchy and watery eyes. What I have heard recently is consuming local produce honey is good for hayfever since the production of the honey is from the local pollination it can help in controlling hayfever. I haven't tried it myself but i have heard about it. Would be very happy to hear if anyone here have tried that before and its effect. We generally buy over the counter but this year since the lockdown with limited movement and travel restrictions ordered this online for the first time.Quite happy with the quick delivery, surely i am going to order this online whenever possible.NOTE: this product is for Adults only.

Seems to be working to keep the effects of hay fever under control
I suffer with hay fever every year on really high pollen days even though I take on or two hay fever tablets some days. this year I decided to go all out and try a number of other products to combat the effects of hay fever. So along with this and my usual hay fever tablets I've also been using balm for around my nostrils and hay fever wipes.I can't tell which product is having the most effect but this year I've not suffered at all with hay fever so will continue to use all products in the future. Yes it may be an expense but if it ends up costing me £30-40 each year then I'll gladly pay it if it means I'm not having to suffer the effects hay fever.I will say that I tried a different nasal spray a number of years ago but it was such a horrible experience that it put my off them until now. This product doesn't burn like the last one or leave a nasty smell. I can't remember which product I used previously.Recommended.

Unlike Others, this needs to be primed every time! This wastes product, and reduces value.
This review is for Pirinase Hayfever Relief Nasal Spray for Adults.I've used Fluticasone nasal spray for many years. I've used the brand name in the USA (Flonase) as well as many generic variants. In all cases the product is the same, and it works for my allergies. In most cases, the bottling and spray is very similar and also works fine. Pirinase is the first one I've tried since moving to the UK. It appears that the spray mechanism is inferior. The problem is that it 'leaks down' over the course of one day, requireing it to be primed every day before use, resulting in wasted spray. I've not had this issue before with any other brand. Normally, with other brands I've used, I find that priming is only needed if it is unused for several days. I'll consider myself lucky to get half the usual number of doses out of this product. Maybe I just got a bad bottle. But I reckon I'll just switch to a different brand. Update: It ran out after much less than half the stated number of doses. I have one bottle left over from the US that I'm using now, when that runs out I'll try Boots brand of Fluticasone spray.
