I used these plugs to hang shelves, curtain rods, and picture frames. Used to install 32 inch tv on wall. My home plasterboard is just the worst so every new fixture is a challenge. I have had complete success using these plugs. They are very rigid what makes easy to hammer them into the drills. Later they contract very well with the screws providing a solid fixing. And the price is also excellent.

Good product, good value, and seems to do the job. Just a shame that 5 of the plugs were missing from it on delivery. I expect this is a packaging issue - very easy for the plugs to twist off. Cheap enough that I wasn't going to bother returning (and I needed to use some straight away), but I probably won't buy again.

I live in a 30s semi whose walls do not have plasterboard; the plaster was applied directly to brick God knows how long ago and the thickness can vary from 20 mm to 40 mm. So putting up fixtures with standard rawlplug can be a pain as eventually they loosen and slide out. I needed something with better grip. I decided to try this based on the reviews.These come with a useful gauge for drill bits and screws for the corresponding size of plug. Keep this!!!!The plugs themselves are incredibly sturdy. I thwacked one in after drilling the hole but found out it wasn't deep enough. It took a lot of force to take out the plug but was very surprised with how little damage the thing sustained. I'm sure I could I have reused it thinking about it now.The plugs have multiple actions: they resist turning due to the "fins" and pulling out due to the "ribs" which get pushed out due to the screws.I have only used this for light use so far but I won't hesitate to use these for heavier items. Well done to the manufacturers for such an cheap yet highly effective product. Keep up the good work!

I have used this product on a number of different applications, in all instances the product has been perfect. Its worth noting that the pack consists of a drill gauge and screw guides which are applicable to the plug size that is included, this appears to be the norm for Plasplug. I have noticed that for some jobs, you may need two or more packs of these, as I ended up using the first pack quickly.My only gripe with this product is that I'm always left with the bigger sized plugs which I rarely ever need to use, it would be nice to able to choose which size plugs I want instead of Plasplug choosing for me. A significant amount of my time is spent on DIY, as a result drilling holes in walls, both solid and plasterboard can be cumbersome, especially with poor quality plugs.Nevertheless these have been the best plugs I've come across. Above my patio door where I wanted to fix a curtain pole there is a hollow void behind the plaster These plugs worked perfectly, usual wall plugs would not bite. Just drill a small hole first then increase hole gradually until the plug can be inserted. Use a screw driver rather than a drill to fasten the screws. Pack contains a few different sizes which are handy. Recommended!

Unfortunately these arrived with 12 missing if that wasn’t the case I’d have to give them 5 stars. For £2.99 not worth the hassle to return them either but they are really good quality
