Not quite the only tool one needs, but it’s close
I don’t remember where I purchased the first of these pliers I bought, but it was a great purchase. It’s perfect to keep in that multi-purpose drawer we all have, in order to keep them handy. It is a great tool for all those grabby, twisty and pull-y needs in a household. Regardless of which end one needs, it always gets the job done, then locks to secure the handles for storage till next time it is needed. I find these pliers so helpful that as soon as we purchased a travel trailer, I purchased another to keep there. Now I’ve purchased yet another to keep in another area of the house, just for convenience.

These are a must have for your toolbox.
I have had a couple of pairs of the older blue-green handle versions of these. I was delighted to find them available again. They are very good quality and quite handy. I keep them in my work toolbox because they take the place of two sets of pliers, saving some weight.

My favorite pliers.
After many years, I've finally replaced my first pair. When the handles became brittle a couple of years ago and began to break, I removed the plastic and dipped the remaining metal in several coats of rubber coating, taking a day to dry between each coat, until they felt good again in my hand. They were worth the effort to me. Eventually, the mechanism that causes the jaws to spring open gradually failed and I bought another pair for my tool bag and moved the old ones into the house. They were the ones I reached for most often because they were a good size and had both types of jaws as needed. I have larger pliers for heavy work, and smaller ones for lighter jobs as well as vise grips, channel locks, etc., but I know these I just bought will be my favorite pliers for many years to come.

Love the Diversity
I love these pliers for their ability to go from needle-nose to regular pliers. They are also great for cutting soft wire. We have several pairs around the house for all of our projects. My only issue is that the button holding the pliers closed does not seem to last very long, thus they are stored with an open jaw and can catch within a drawer. That is not enough to keep me from purchasing this diverse tool.

Kitchen junk drawer staple
I keep one of these in my kitchen “junk” drawer as I use it all the time. I love having both needle nose and regular on the same tool, takes up less space and I don’t need to fumble around looking for what I need. This is the 6th or 7th one I’ve bought over the years as I’ve given some as gifts and I also keep one in my tool caddy, one in the car, one in the garage. This one is for the little tool kit I keep in my office.I’ve never had one break and the little clip that holds it shut when not in use doesn’t wear out.I have small hands, and not a very strong grip, and these work great even for me, I can get a good solid grip on them even with my little old-lady hands. The men in my family with big strong hands also find this tool easy to hold and use. So it seems to be a great tool for anyone.Hope this is helpful!!
