Handy multipurpose tripod
It is relatively light, and easily transportable. It's flexible legs allow it to stand in small spaces and attach to things. It has a ball socket to adjust the angle of the camera. It isn't 100% sturdy or stable, but it is better than not having it, and better than rigid tripods of this size. I find it works best with a delay timer to ensure stability when taking a shot. It is a tool worth having.

Awesome is all can say really
I brought this after using the little one on my GoPro for a while and seeing how good that was (I submitted a review for that too). I was still a little cautious because my Canon EOS 1100D whilst not exactly new is still going to be quite pricey to replace if I break it! This was something I needn't be worried about as far as this gorillapod is concerned it will hold up to 1Kg in weight but I suspect its probably far in excess of that! I have had it wrapped round all sorts if things to hold the camera upright and it's never failed me. The ONLY minor niggle I have with it (and it is just a minor niggle). Is that if you are in a hurry and have just untangked it from a post of some description and want to straighten it out to use on the ground or a table etc it takes ages to straighten it properly simply because it is so good at holding itself up and the joints are (necessarily) stiff and difficult to move. This may change over time and the may become slightly looser with use (not too much I hope or it wont be as effective!). All in all this is a truly awesome little tripod and you would be well advised to buy this and not a cheaper alternative. I would happily recommend this to anyone that's looking for a mini tripod

Good tripod, but I wouldn't put 1kg on it.
This is a great tripod, but I would only really use it with smaller cameras - like APS-C cameras, gopros etc. Iwould not put a full-size DSLR on it. My new setup is well within the weight limits stated (setup is 800g, limit 1kg) but it feels very unstable in a non-standard position - and non-standard positions are the selling point of this tripod. With an APS-C camera it is AMAZING though, and I could not recommend it enough. However, if you are buying for a DSLR, get the 3k kit.

This product has got some grip.
This product has got some grip.I am a amateur astrophotographer and videographer. This bit of gear has allowed me to reach and add a different dimensions to my work.Pros:Great Grip on objects with texture.Well balanced.Good price. Can easily hold a full body DSLR or speedlight.Cons:The grip is not reliable on super smooth surfaces. The grip fails when the supporting object is too thin. Not as malleable as you think.Over all I do recommend the Gorilla Pod as it is very sturdy and great to take those pictures you want to be in.

Does what it says on the box
Simply put, I am quite happy with this purchase. I admit the joby 1k kit to buy on it's own is at a fair price, but I can imagine the add on's is what bumps up the price of having joby kit. I noticed this when I purchased the mobile accessory add on separately, which was like 14 quid to purchase and now I have my eye on the joby bubble but before I buy that, I need another attachment to attach the bubble on.Price aside though, I found it sturdy, well built and it looks good. I tested it out on my canon eos m100, which was fine and I also tested it out on my sony handset. It worked well as a desktop mount for video calling and vlogging and it also worked great as a mount on my door, headboard and such. I also like holding it like a stabiliser when i was walking around.Time will tell with this kit, but so far it has left a good impression on me, family and friends. I look forward to it being of great use on my next trip! Enjoy!

Very versatile tripod for filming!
After picking up the Canon M50 camera, I knew I needed a small tripod to pair it with to get good photos and stable time-lapses. I was attracted to the JOBY GorillaPod due to the reputation they had.The best features about the tripod are the small design which makes it easy to travel with. It fits well in all of my camera bags and doesn’t add too much weight. The strength it has for the small form factor is also great. It holds the Canon M50 well with a variety of lenses. One of my favourite features would be the fact the legs are flexible and can easily wrap around fences and posts to get some interesting shots.I also really like the ball head that it comes with as it makes it really simple to take portrait shots.Overall, I would say that a JOBY GorillaPod is a must-buy for anyone that travels around with their camera. I don’t use it often in client projects, but more when I’m travelling. Make sure to pick up the correct GorillaPod for the weight of your camera and lens as I had to return one I bought for a heavier setup. The flexibility and portability make this a product that I would definitely recommend.

Ok for a compact camera.
It's ok. The feet came loose after a few months and it's not so sturdy with an x_s10 camera. Best for compacts.

Love to Hate.
I used this load and love how flexible it is, no pun intended. Very easy to adapt to what I need it for. Whether it be gripping and wrapping around a post, tree, etc, or arranging the legs as a tripod. On the uneven ground. My only gripe is I think it's highlighted I have OCD.not been able to straighten it out as it made my head wobble, and I will be there for hours if I try 🫣.Both I and my daughter struggle with ADHD. She spent most time using it as a fidget toy when I was not using it.The image of the photo was taken with my camera while using the tripod at a delayed shutter speed. To highlight how it worked for me.
