Great quality at a great price
A great option to whom wants to have their knives in good shape. Much better when compared with the other normal stones on Amazon, for the price this is a must, do yourself a favor and get one of this, your knives will come back to live.

Dishes too quickly
The stone does what it's intended to do, but it's so soft compared to many other whetstones that I've used in the past. I was sharpening something with the 250# side and it dishes so quickly! I couldn't believe it. I expected more from King. I can't say I would recommend this stone unless you're in a pinch.

Great product, do a good job
Nice stone, doing its job to recover very dull knife or just reprofile it (240 side). 1000 grit side also performs very well (compared with Naniwa 1000/3000 stone). It's a pity it doesn't come with a stand but I am using one from other stones I own.

Good value
Works like a charm.

not what I expected
The double sided stone was not aligned correctly when set together. The stones are ok but not great.

Dishes easily
Coarse side dished badly after one sharpening of a plane iron. Only buy this if you don't mind a stone that rapidly dishes. Fine side is a bit better but coarse side just wears away too fast. Maybe it's OK for axes of rougher tools.

Best way to sharpen knife
The best way to sharpen. Another finer stone (4000) is needed.
