I'd rather be barefoot than wear shoes. Grew up by the beach then PNW for all of my adult life and still prefer barefoot over shoes!Lifelong 'Locals' flip flop wearer. They have no cushion or comfort but they're flip flops so I didn't expect them to. They kept my feet feeling free and that's all I cared about. By the end of the day my feet were tired, but again, that was the pay off for wearing basically bare feet all day! I was never looking at alternative flip flops, trends, etc. I just stuck with my 'originals'.One day the only pair of locals I had broke!!!! So I started looking online to order a couple more pairs.and of course the pop up 'people also looked at these' scrolls up with various 'popular' versions of a flip flop. I prefer the less trendy look so it was easy to scroll on but then I saw Archie's. Hmmm, ok. They're still very minimalistic looking, they don't have a fat sole or funky shape to the soles, no decorative or cloth straps.Hmmm. Ok. Read about the arch support and looked at them again to make sure the arch support didn't create an odd looking silhouette (picky, I know)And decided to give them a try. That was 5 years ago and I still have that first pair in Taupe. Remember I wear flip flops unless dress coad or an event dictates otherwise. I've purchased a couple more for color alternatives, Black, Red, now Navy.I'm telling you these are sooooo comfortable! I have a high arch so I never realized how much that little arch support enhances the comfort. All day long and I don't have tired feet or arches anymore!Archie's are constructed with a super cushioned foot bed and you'd think because of that, they would wear down quickly, but like I said, five years and going strong.I'm a very young 67 year old barefoot baby and Archie's are the only flip flops for me!!!I've since also ordered a couple more pairs

The best flip flops I think I ever had.i have tried every brand on the market, either they eventually hurt inside my toes or the balls of my feet or did not fit right. I bought these and I can’t believe how they fit on your feet unbelievable. I bought a size 7 due to other reviews and they were correct I usually wear a size 6-1/2 and the 7 fit perfect. They make your feet feel simply wonderful it is so hard to explain, it must be the arch they say they have in them. I am going to order another pair as well. I ordered the navy blue so I can get them in fast and try them, did not want this particular color but it is a true navy blue and it looks good on the foot. But if you are on the fence about purchasing these Archie’s I say try them you won’t go wrong with h the fit.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I'm from southern California so I've worn flip flops religiously for years no matter the season. In the last few years I've struggled with painful plantar fasciitis. I could no longer wear flip flops or walk barefoot. At this point I wouldn't even attempt throwing on flip flops to run to do a quick grocery store trip, which was limiting. I've tried other brands of sandals specifically designed for plantar fasciitis with no success until now. I have wide feet so I normally purchase an 11 for extra width. However, the 11 was too long in this brand and I returned them for a 10. 10 fits me purchase. Other reviews said it takes a few days to get used to them which was helpful. They do feel a bit odd at first since they have significant arch support, but you get used to it. They feel like you have orthopedic souls with the flip flop look. I'm beyond thrilled as they look like my haviianas which I wore for years.Since I have a severe case of foot pain, I definitely wont wear them the entire day if I'm doing a lot of walking. However, I can wear them to the store, out shopping, out with friends etc... I HIGHLY recommend these. I'm purchasing them in other colors today. I'm beyond thrilled.

Pros: I followed recommendations and Amazon’s suggested sizing - sizing up from my normal 11 to a 12 and they fit perfectly. The arch support definitely lives up to the hype. Really like the foam material- enough flex to be very comfortable, but still a fairly firm material (gives them good structure, makes them easy to clean). I also like that the foot strap is part of the foot bed of the sandal - can walk through water without it seeping through to the foot bed.Cons: These have taken a solid 3-4 weeks to finally break in. I have average feet, and don’t wear wide sizes… but the straps on these are so incredibly tight that I haven’t been able to wear them for more than a few hours without them rubbing my skin raw. After a few weeks they have either stretched enough that I no longer have red marks, or I’ve created calluses on the tops of my feet.Although I’m only giving these 4 stars because of that, they are something I would buy again for the unique foot support.

I am shoe size 6 or 6.5 depending on the brand, Archie's 7 fits perfectly. I have real issues wearing flip flops - I hate the way the toe post / strap feels and typically it hurts so after years I’d pretty much given up on them. I read the reviews on Archie’s and they are total game changer! Within the first few minutes of trying them out there was no discomfort between my toes and they felt comfy. I’ve had them for a week and only wear them a couple of hours a day but they feel like I’ve been wearing them forever. They are without a doubt the most comfortable flip flops / sandals I’ve ever owned. A review I read stated they feel like walking on a cloud which I second..I forget I’m wearing them, that’s how amazing they are. I love the arch support. They are absolutely perfect and really cute!! You definitely need these, some of the best sandals / flat shoes I’ve ever owned and trust me if you could see inside my closet you’d understand that’s a big statement for me!
