Good quality, easy to handle
Seems a great quality cable, and flexible enough that it was easy to route.I used it to connect an external security camera, and cut the internal end of the cable so it could be terminated in a socket. The cable is quite flexible and easy to route and pull through holes, and the outer jacket is tough. When I cut the cable, I could see is also has an inner jacket as advertised. It's worth noting that the cable boots prevented it fitting in the waterproofing cable gland provided by reolink - but the boot was easy to remove (with a blade) without compromising the cable. The cable works well and overall I'm very pleased.

Works well
I connected this to my router in the house to my garden office. It is clipped to the wall & cable tied to the armoured power cable. The run is approx 65 metres so I purchased the 75m cable. I have no loss of speed at all. I used a 16mm drill bit to go through the wall. I use nest mesh WiFi and purchased a second router to connect to the other end. This works well as the router treats the Ethernet cable connection exactly the same as a standard mesh wireless connection (backhaul) so everything just works.Previously I used ‘powerline’ adapters which lost 90% of the internet speed across the same run. I was able to sell these for more money than the cable - so winner winner chicken dinner

Outdoor Waterproof Ethernet
I wanted this cable to run 30m to the end of the garden, for my temp WFH office. I can pick up the WiFi but only weakly, and figured that a wired connection would be a more robust solution. The cable itself arrived quickly, and was well packaged, and connecting it was straight forward. The cable functions perfectly, and the connection was much better than wireless. I got 67mbit download, and 18Mbit upload with a latency of 19ms, much better than the 7mb up, 10mbdown and 56ms latency of the WiFi.The reason I have dropped a star was that the cable is quite plastic to the point where it has 2 negatives. The first is that it is coiled, so when you are trying to route it, you are fighting against the coils, to get the full length, and it makes routing the cable path that little bit trickier. The second negative aspect is that the could tend to kink, if you are not carfule with unwinding them, and twice I got a sharp kink in the cable which I thought may have broken the wire inside. Both times, the cable was more robust than I have it credit for, but it is not a problem I have seen with other cables. That aside, the cable is excellent, it does a fine job of hardwiring , is priced at a reasonable amount, and appears well made. Good quality, great value cable for external cable routing
Cable ContructionOverall cable diameter is approx 6-7mm. A single run sits neatly in single 6mm round cable clips. A run of two cables fit perfectly side-by-side in a 6mm twin & earth cable clip. There is the visible, exterior, sturdy black sheath which causes some stiffness in the cable but is also very tough. This makes it a little difficult to bend in a tight radius but also helps when passing a cable through drilled holes in a wall. Removing the black, outer sheath (carefully) there is a second overall sheath which is more like a traditional UTP cable in thickness and flexibility. When routing the cable into a back-box or to a patch panel for subsequent termination I would reccomend removing the outer protective sheath as far back as possible without sacrificing the protection and then routing the more flexible cable, covered by the interior sheath that remains otherwise you *will* struggle to bend cables back into place when screwing the faceplate onto the box (and potentially cause a breakage) or might suffer from space issues at the back of a patch-panel as those extra couple of mm in diameter really do make a difference. The interior is the standard 4x tightly twisted Cat6 pairs and a central plastic 'former' that aids in the individual pairs' separation within the cable. Both exterior and interior sheaths are marked with cable type / certification and also length marks each meter.Given the price of less than £80 inc VAT and delivery when purchasing and the fact that I recieved 50 RJ45 plugs, a crimp tool and some coloured cable ties I am very impressed with the value. Many other sellers and sites are selling cable of this quality for more than this and then add VAT and shipping on top making it in excess of £100Good quality product, great if you need some reliable speedy networking around your home or between buildings when powerline ethernet or wireless just doesn't cut it.

So imagine how much of an idiot I felt like when I received these in the post.It was my girlfriend's birthday and we were having a party in the garden. the gazebo was all set up, I'd made a DJ desk out of wooden pallets, and fairy lights were all hung up for effect, neighbours had all been warned that there would be loud music playing till the early hours. Now, I needed to make sure that my laptop could receive wifi from our router which was some distance from the bottom of our garden.Enter the MutecPower 30m CAT6 Outdoor waterproof Direct Burial Ethernet Network Cable. Looked good, and seemed to be exactly what I needed to make sure the tunes weren't going to start buffering in the middle of my set, cos that would not have gone down well! So, back to me feeling like an idiot. What didn't I do? Check to make sure my laptop had a port to connect to the router. And of course, it didn't have one, did it?So now I have a perfectly good ethernet cable that's still wound up waiting to find its purpose and function in our home. I'm sure it will come into use someday.Maybe, I will find the time to connect the TV to the router, which means finding a way up into and through the loft to keep it neat you know? But, that's a job for another day. Thanks for reading.PS. The party was banging and the wifi worked very well without the cable so all was good.PSS. I tested the cable in my TV and it does work very well so not a bad purchase at all.
